Cute little place but the apple pie was really disappointing. The dough/crust tastes very chemically. Impossible to eat. Idk what they did, or if the flour was rancid or old or spoiled… only the filling inside was good. The blueberry lemon muffin and cinnamon swirl muffin was good- but nothing worth writing home about. Sourdough bread is really nice!

I ordered several items from 3x3 Kitchen for Thanksgiving — the gluten-free sourdough stuffing, the chocolate nutella babka, and the apple pie — and every single thing was outstanding. You would never know anything was gluten-free. The textures, flavors, and freshness were perfect, and my whole family loved everything. I regularly get their sourdough and babka swirls as well as their chocolate chip cookie dough and am always amazed by how good they are!

The customer service is also amazing. They’re warm, responsive, and truly passionate about what they do. It’s rare to find a bakery that cares this much about both quality and dietary needs.

Highly recommend 3x3 Kitchen to anyone who wants incredible gluten-free baked goods made with real skill and heart.

I’m completely in love with this celiac-friendly, gluten-free bakery in Riverdale! 🐶🥖 It’s a must-visit, especially for those with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity.

Derek and Monica, the fantastic husband-and-wife team running the bakery, have created something truly special. From the moment my friend and I walked in, we were greeted by their warm atmosphere. They are incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about their work, which is evident in everything they do.

The bakery has a wonderfully family-friendly vibe, and it’s clear that Derek and Monica genuinely care about their community. They even introduced us to their beautiful daughter and their adorable eight-month-old puppy, which added to the cozy and inviting feel of the place.

It's rare to find a spot that welcomes both kids and dogs with open arms. Derek was so sweet to us and our dogs, Luca (a Husky) and Henry (a Field English Cocker Spaniel). Outside, he introduced himself to us and our dogs while we enjoyed our delicious treats.

Derek was especially kind to our dogs, handing out treats and even giving them a piece of their special sourdough bread with our permission. They loved it! As we left, he gifted us a loaf to take home, which was incredibly heartwarming. 🫶🏼

Now, let’s talk about the bread! The sourdough is simply amazing—can’t recommend it enough! It’s a game-changer for anyone needing gluten-free options. Plus, it’s vegan, non-GMO, and soy-free, demonstrating how thoughtful their baking is. For those with celiac disease, finding a bakery that offers safe and delicious gluten-free options is rare, especially in a big city like New York.

This bakery fills a significant need for a group that often struggles to find great options. Derek and Monica are doing a fantastic job providing tasty and safe food, which is a big win for the Riverdale community.

Living in Riverdale for 19 years, they understand the community's values. Their bakery is more than just a place to buy bread; it’s a community hub that fosters a sense of belonging. In a family- and dog-friendly neighborhood like Riverdale, a business that shares those values is invaluable. Hearing about their journey to starting the bakery really highlights how their time in the community has shaped their vision. They truly make Riverdale an even more welcoming place.

It’s super important now more than ever to invest time and energy into purposeful businesses that make a difference. If you’re looking for a tasty treat or some great coffee, definitely swing by this bakery. You won’t regret it! You’ll also be supporting a place that is actively involved in the celiac community. Even if you’re not gluten-sensitive, their food is so delicious that you’d never guess it’s gluten-free, vegan, and soy-free.

So, treat yourself and help nurture both your body and your community by stopping by!

The world is full of products marketed as gluten-free, but most of the breads and cakes are poor stand-ins for the real thing. The nice people at 3X3 have cracked the code or mastered the secrets: I am an eater of gluten but their food is delicious: an earthy bread made with forbidden rice; a cinnamon babka, a carrot-turmeric muffin. They are a Bronx secret for the moment, but DO make a trip to there before everyone finds out and the shelves are empty. My wife says to tell everyone she comes home excited and happy . . . and I approve of any place that does that!

Wonderful shop! Delicious variety of gluten free baked goods and very friendly owner. Tried the blueberry rolls and an orange saffron one as well as the forbidden rice bread and the garlic confit loaf. Am looking forward to future visits and trying the quiche options they have.

I got an event catered by 3x3 and it was PERFECT. Monika and her team were so incredible. They put together a perfect menu with all of my favorite treats. She delivered the food prior to the event and everything got eaten so quickly I barely had time to get photos! I have celiac and felt completely safe and taken care of throughout the entire process, and cannot thank the 3x3 team enough for their dedication to providing incredible gluten free food to the NYC community. The standouts of the weekend were the sourdough, forbidden rice loaf, the cornbread, and the feta and tomato quiche!! But everything was delicious. I could not recommend this service more highly to anyone needing gluten free goodies for their special day.

The husband and wife team running this place are incredibly knowledgeable about every single product they offer. You can tell they are passionate about quality and care deeply about their craft. The husband is an amazing gluten-free chef — his creations are truly next level! The ginger snap cookies made with young ginger are out of this world — perfectly spiced, soft, and packed with flavor. Their sourdough bread loaves are some of the best I’ve ever had, with that perfect balance of chewy and airy texture. And don’t even get me started on their pies — every bite is a taste of homemade perfection. If you’re looking for top-notch, thoughtfully crafted baked goods, 3x3 Kitchen is the place to go!

Beautiful space, with thoughtfully curated items and design. The baked goods are phenomenal. I don't typically eat gluten free, but I would highly recommend anything made here to anyone who enjoys delicious breads, pastries, etc. There is so much flavor in the seasonal pastries and everything I tried was baked to perfection. I tried the Blueberry pie and Strawberry rhubarb turnover.

It was a rainy Saturday and I wanted to treat myself and my family to something. I had a craving for quiche, so I typed it into Google maps and 3x3 kitchen came up. I looked at the menu and called for pickup. I ordered the broccoli and cheddar quiche, a Nutella babka and the rosemary and cheese focaccia. When I arrived my order was ready. Everything was delicious and the service was great.

What a delightful little spot in Riverdale. I was visiting from PA and sought out this spot for the forbidden rice bread listed on its website. When I got to the shop, I was greeted by the owner who walked me around to explain all the options. Gluten free heaven!! I walked out with the forbidden rice loaf and cranberry-walnut loaf, plus a vegan GF brownie for my birthday the next day. Possibly the most dense chocolatey that has ever passed my lips. Wowza! And the bread, don't even get me started. Wonderfully thick and chewy. I just wish this was located in PA! Kudos, this is a high quality shop that I will definitely visit again.
