Very great place. The real African food is HERE!
Great Service! Food is an 8!
Is very good
The meals are amazing I promise go test it 😋😋❤️
This place is so rude and whenever you call on the phone they just put the phone down and make it go straight to voicemail. I sent my little nephew there one day and they charged him for okra sauce and gif but never give him the fufu. I call back and the lady says tell him to come so we can give it to him. My nephew went and they charged him again for the fufu. I call the restaurant and they kept putting me to voicemail. They stole my money when I had already paid the first time. They need to do better with their customer service . I don’t like people stealing from me at all.
Ordered Egusi with goat and pounded yam. Got the mixed meat with a piece of fish. Maybe I got the wrong thing but left me with a very poor impression. I’ve had various foods from primarily West Africa and been on the hunt for a good restaurant. It’s like they don’t want to win. I was excited after being influenced and sad I was disappointed.
At around 9 p.m., I purchased fufu with egusi. When the meal was served, the meat provided contained a significant amount of fat and was mostly large bones, with very little meat present.
Oh my goodness. That homemade ginger drink is something else. They put hot pepper in it. Why? It is too spicy!! You can not drink it.
This place was just OK. I was not a fan of the not so clean floor, but the food was OK. The place on 125th St. is so much better. And I think if I go back, I will only go to the one on 125th St.
One student recommended me Fufu, a soft cassava or plantain dough, and Egusi Soup, which must be eaten by hand. She immediately bought it for me, and when I got home, I instantly enjoyed it. It was so healthy and strong that I cleared my sinuses and felt I was in a clear blue sky. Natural foods really help, and I recommend Accra for brining back the tradition of eating with hands in a diverse community.
Restaurantji Recommends
the restaurant says (poster outside) it accepts EBT card and also when we asked the staffs they said the same too. but when we ordered the food the staff said they dont accept EBT card, they only accept cash. Liar
My favorite for the past 30 years.
African food made by the Ghanian people
Food was close to home, very delicious. New location is just a bit too small to dine in.
The Waakye is delicious and the dish is enough for two people.
