I go to this pizza shop because I always felt like they have the best pizza, in my opinion, on this side of the Bronx. So I decided to purchase the shrimp Parmesan with spaghetti and marinara sauce for my mom because that is her favorite and I didn't want to have to go all the way across town to Giovanni's. We get back and look at the food and I noticed that it was not spaghetti but Penne pasta. I called them back explaining to them the mixup and the guy on the telephone tells me that I can bring it back and he can make me some spaghetti on the side. I told him that is not the same, that is not what I ordered. so he says I can bring it there and they can just transfer it over or I can transfer it over on top of the spaghetti. I told him, no, I would bring it back and he would make me a whole new dish. He tells me to hold on twice and ultimately asked me did I open it. I returned it and I think they put the shrimp from the other meal "under" my spaghetti, marinara sauce on top of the spaghetti, packaged it and gave it to me. By the time I got to my car, the marinara sauce had spilled on the bottom of the bag, out onto my coat. I tried to wipe it off and it also spilled onto the side of my car doors. Another restaurant would have just made a totally new meal, not trying to do the bait and switch on you. Poor service.

The food is great, they make it pretty quick but they are kinda on the expensive side, at least to me. I usually pay $2.50-$3 for a pizza in the heights and they charge like $4-5 but the food taste good so its worth it. I always get the buffalo chicken pizza and garlic knots. They also have this appetizer called "Zeppoles" it's amazing. The service is good, depending on who's working the counter. They take a while to get to you, even when you're literally the only one there and they're not busy.. the lady that works there has a attitude and is just bad with customer service overall, she doesn't say hi, how are you, you're welcome, thank you, have a nice day, etc. you know the basics.. I'm not that mad about it but when I say "thank you, have a good afternoon" I expect a " you're welcome have a nice day, enjoy" or something like that

I give them 2 stars. Customer service is terrible! No acknowledgment to customer. No pleasantries. Not even a "thank you." I ordered a gyro. I must say that it was good, however, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE LAMB? They charge you $7.00 for pita bread, lettuce, onions, tomatoes and white sauce. I was so disappointed. NEVER will I go there AGAIN! You want a GOOD gyro with A LOT OF MEAT, and not to mention good customer service, go to JIMBOS on 163rd st. The treat you good, and you will not be disappointed.

This place has changed owners over the years since I've reviewed it I believe, and the pizza has been consistently very good. They are also one of the only places around the area that have an internet presence at all. They're on all the apps such as Slice, Grubhub, Seamless, etc, so that's a huge plus to me too. Have not been disappointed at all. My go-to spot.

I have to admit, Mario's Pizza II was really magnificent. The menu is great and the atmosphere is perfect. Superb flavor. Service was fantastic and everybody working here was really nice and hospitable. Mario's Pizza II - An instant favorite, and we plan on coming back here often.
Food was okay but my pizza looked like slices were put together to make a pie, I rather have my pizza made and cut from scratch.

The pizza at this place is ok, not the best but not the worst. However, the staff is disgusting. Extremely rude. There's been many times where I've ignored their nasty attitude and let it slide but no one wants to go order food and have such an unpleasant experience, except for this one guy I think he's African American I'm not sure, but he's nice, he tries to accommodate customers and help me out after dealing with a rude one.
