I don't know what the attitude is about. The server acts as if im bothering her. I just smiled. But, it's not welcoming. I stopped by to buy my usual of lamb, turkey tail and fish with plantains and yams. I was told that I can only purchase turkey tail and that they don't sell the others, even though I and my wife have purchased it many times. I smiled again and left. It's a shame because I do enjoy the food here.

My husband and I come here whenever we find ourselves in the Bronx. They just upsized the restaurant and have sit in options. The setting itself is awesome (tropical jungle wall paper). Service is spot on.- I prefer my homemade Jollof, and the fish/meat is fried and dry. Portions are well worth the money though, and the servers are so friendly and welcoming.

This place is generally good but whoever cooked the waakye for the afternoon of Nov 1st 2024 was bad!! The beans were as hard as rocks!! I painfully had to take the beans out one-by-one in order to eat the food. Pkease cook the beans well bc your food is usually good. Thank you.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the food. The dishes lacked flavor, and the ingredients didn’t seem fresh.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. Not only did they refuse to serve me, but they also had a horrible attitude throughout the entire encounter. While I waited, they were talking about me in Hausa, assuming I wouldn’t understand. It’s shocking that such rude behavior is tolerated in a place that’s supposed to serve customers. I won’t be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone seeking decent service.

This is a shitty restaurant. They are always making mistakes with their orders. Countless time have we ordered and they got the order wrong after spending hundreds of dollars. The owner is kind and will always apologize on the behalf of his workers. The food is good but expect to get an incorrect order for delivery.
