My husband and I come here whenever we find ourselves in the Bronx. They just upsized the restaurant and have sit in options. The setting itself is awesome (tropical jungle wall paper). Service is spot on.- I prefer my homemade Jollof, and the fish/meat is fried and dry. Portions are well worth the money though, and the servers are so friendly and welcoming.

This place is generally good but whoever cooked the waakye for the afternoon of Nov 1st 2024 was bad!! The beans were as hard as rocks!! I painfully had to take the beans out one-by-one in order to eat the food. Pkease cook the beans well bc your food is usually good. Thank you.

I’ve eaten from stores around the way and “thought” the food was good. But I became a life long resident here after eating this restaurant food. I ordered 2 small Tuo zaafi and okra soup mix with spinach, fried fish and eggs for me and my family. We all Fell in love on the first bite ( I promise ). I could not stop eating until it was the last bite. Went back again and order rice balls Ground nut soup with cow feet just for myself and it didn’t disappoint.
