Ali’s Roti Shop on White Plains Road is a solid Trinidadian Caribbean spot that really hits the mark. They have a great selection of doubles you can go with the regular chickpea version or add saltfish, shrimp, or chicken depending on what you’re in the mood for. The flavors are very good and taste authentic, just like proper Trinidad food should. Another big plus is how fast the food comes out, even when they’re busy. Definitely a go to spot in the Bronx when you’re craving...
The customers that hold up the line are the worst part of coming here constantly asking dumb questions. There's a whole menu board of the food they serve and u have ppl asking about does oxtails have bones. Do some research on the food u want to get before wasting ppls time. Other than that nonsense the doubles here a pretty good and so is the curry chicken buss up
I absolutely love this place. I love Ali's so much that I travel from Connecticut all the way back to the Bronx to enjoy there food. I have enjoyed their boneless chicken roti for years. But now since they moved to their new location, they have added some delicious new options. I never had Doubles so good. Now the add chicken, or beef, or shrimp, you name it they probably add it. Delicious!!!!!! The customer service is thru the roof wonderful. The prices are very workable....
