I recently visited Aman Halal Pakistani Restaurant and Catering, and the food was absolutely outstanding. I ordered the chicken biryani, butter chicken, and chili/kolah chicken, and every single dish exceeded expectations.
The chicken biryani was one of the best I’ve had in a long time — incredibly flavorful, perfectly cooked rice with each grain separate and fluffy, not sticky at all. The spices were well balanced, and the chicken was extremely tender, soft, and juicy, soaking up all the flavors beautifully.
The butter chicken was exceptional. The gravy instantly brought back childhood memories of home-cooked food rich, comforting, and deeply flavorful without being overly sweet. It had the perfect balance of spice and creaminess, exactly how authentic butter chicken should taste.
The Koyla chicken was another highlight succulent, soft, and packed with flavor, with a wonderful texture and spice level that complemented the dish perfectly.
Overall, the food tasted fresh, authentic, and made with care. You can truly feel the love and tradition in their cooking. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for genuine Pakistani flavors and comforting, delicious food. I’ll definitely be coming back again.

The restaurant is very clean and welcoming. The staff is great, the food is delicious, and the prices are excellent. I definitely recommend checking it out.
OLD FOOD, slow service, no type of hospitality. All these positive reviews must be FAKE because I went to get some kebabs and naans today and not only did they reheat the kebabs for me but also gave me stiff, rubbery naans, no salad and watery chutney, and that upon asking. Shouldn’t it be customary to give the condiments with the kebab and naans especially to a fellow desi! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

for me, this is the peak of pakistani food in new york. it feels like a proper, home-cooked meal, made with love and skill. they have a rotating set of dishes, so each visit is an opportunity to try something new instead of re-ordering the same thing. each of their dishes has a unique flavor profile as opposed to a lot of desi places which copy and paste the same masala.
the people here are lovely. they’re friendly and offer recommendations. the elder gentleman working the tandoor must have magic hands because every naan i’ve had is the right mix of fluffy and crisp textures (and he always offers a warm smile when i visit). i love their chicken salan, chana masala, and shami kebabs. last time, i had a goat and karela dish that was delicious. their kheer is the best i’ve had anywhere. chai is good too. anytime i’m in the area, my dinner plan is aman’s.
