Hands down one of my all time favorite restaurants. They treat you like family! The staff is incredible, the food is always fresh and has such an authentic taste. I love their homely style and aesthetic . I recommend them 10/10!!!!!!

Pros- food taste good, server was very nice and friendly .
Cons - took over 35 mins to bring out my food , and there was only 1 other table occupied with 2 people in the whole restaurant . they charged $12 for a super small guac with chips, they charged $4 for my can of seltzer water . My Daugther is a super picky eater and when the tacos came out they had tomatoes on them when I specifically told them no tomatoes . I had to sit and pick out all the tomatoes because I knew if I sent it back it would take another 35 mins . The food was good but nothing special from any other Mexican mom and pop place . Unfortunately I won’t be back I’ll go back to my regular Mexican spots . Also they need to set the vibe better the place is super super blan on decor for the prices. They are trying to be upscale without the vibe to match it. Gotta pick a side .

Friendly staff and great fresh food! the pico de gallo was so good! The horchata was delicious. I have pics of the chicken tinga was great, but I love spicy and told them to up the chile the next time! The owners a A+ people that were accommodating and very friendly. I highly recommend and have gone twice.

Came across Amina’s cafe looking for breakfast and decided to give it a try, so glad I did! Loved their traditional plates and decor but the food was even better! The customer service was great and overall really enjoyed everything about this place, will definitely be coming back! ☺️

I love coming to Amina’s cafe and frequent the restaurant often. I’m usually greeted by a nice woman whose cat roams the backyard area but my last experience she wasn’t there. It was a different woman and a man in the kitchen instead. Everything was fine until I went to pay and and was charged $10.99 for a SINGLE waffle. The menu stated $7.00 so I communicated that to the cashier who then called over the man in the kitchen. They went back and fourth and the man looks at me and goes “it’s $7.99” 😐 no apologies for the confusion or even accountability for the mistake on their end.
It is not my fault you have not updated the prices on your menus! It also says $7 on the menu, not $7.99. The way he spoke to me was with such attitude I really didn’t appreciate it especially considering I come here quite often. I’m going to give Amina’s cafe a break until they can figure out the prices on their menus and the attitude they give the people that are supporting their restaurant.

I used to love coming here - I was a customer for almost 2 years. I came in today and there was completely new ownership. Rosie and her family no longer own it.
I got shrimp tacos and the rice and beans. The rice and beans were very very bland, and the tacos were okay but not as good as they used to be. Also, the prices went up. Worse food, higher prices. I miss the old Amina's.
