Sorry to report but it seems that Anthony’s has closed.Authentic Italian food in a friendly happy atmosphere. Margarita pizza is thin crust amazing. Recommend a Caesar salad with it. All dishes are excellent and prices are reasonable. For the time being you can byob as they await their liquor license. Bon appetito

First time here everything was outstanding. I'm a Bronx native and no longer living here but when I walked into this place for the 1st time I felt like my family was serving us. As a first time customer without a reservation Peter the manager was kind enough to set up a table for the two of us. I have to ordering specials I was pleasant ways to prize when the manager offered us to free salad. The specials came out the food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. I do recommend this restaurant. It is a little A bit of heaven on City Island

Love Anthony’s Italian restaurant. The food is delicious taste like grandma’s homemade gravy. Last night I had the eggplant Parmesan and it was wonderful. My husband had the steak and shrimp and he loved it! We’ve gone there so many times and never had a bad meal. The people there are very welcoming they come over to your table several times to make sure you are totally accommodated to. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves Italian food!

We went to Anthony's last night 12/03/21 and it was absolutely amazing. The service was great and the food was fantastic. I know this is an Italian restaurant, but I had the 10 oz Filet Mignon and it was cooked to perfection, it came with onions and mushrooms and the best homemade potato chips. There were 7 of us for dinner and everyone took food home, the portions are tremendous, other dinners that were had, Linguine with White Clam Sauce, there had to be over a dozen clams and at least a pound of pasta, Jumbo Shrimp Parmigiana with spinach was also well liked. There pizza is so good too, as well as their "House Salad" for two. Other meals were Shrimp, Calamari, Clams & Mussels Marecchiara over Linguini, absolutely HUGE dish. Plus this place is a BYOB, and the coffee and cappuccino were great as well. We will definitely be going back there.

It is freshly made, family style portions! Classic and up to date menu at the same time! Excellent variety!The atmosphere is so pleasant and clean and no crowded spaces!Anthony and Pete are extremely gracious hosts! The waiters are also so attentive and so well mannered!I will be returning again for a 4th time with yet new and regular guests!5 stars all the way for everything!
