Sorry to report but it seems that Anthony’s has closed.Authentic Italian food in a friendly happy atmosphere. Margarita pizza is thin crust amazing. Recommend a Caesar salad with it. All dishes are excellent and prices are reasonable. For the time being you can byob as they await their liquor license. Bon appetito

First off, the food here is excellent; if I were rating on that alone, I'd give it 5 stars. I deducted a star for the dine-in experience. Everything was fine, it was just a little dark and crowded (and, as of writing this, they didn't have their liquor license). But my pasta was excellent, and a huge portion. Everyone loved what they had.

First time here everything was outstanding. I'm a Bronx native and no longer living here but when I walked into this place for the 1st time I felt like my family was serving us. Food was nothing short of outstanding. Service as well. Mussels are a must. I'll be back here again for sure soon. Thanks Pete.

As a first time customer without a reservation Peter the manager was kind enough to set up a table for the two of us. I have to ordering specials I was pleasant ways to prize when the manager offered us to free salad. The specials came out the food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. I do recommend this restaurant. It is a little A bit of heaven on City Island

Love Anthony’s Italian restaurant. The food is delicious taste like grandma’s homemade gravy. Last night I had the eggplant Parmesan and it was wonderful. My husband had the steak and shrimp and he loved it! We’ve gone there so many times and never had a bad meal. The people there are very welcoming they come over to your table several times to make sure you are totally accommodated to. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves Italian food!

Stopped by today for dinner and couldn't have made a better choice. Everything about this place was great. Quick service, a friendly staff, and amazing food. The bread came out the oven fresh and went perfectly with the meal. I ordered the shrimp scampi but watched as other tables were served and could easily say that from the way things looked and how others reacted to their food, that you can't go wrong with what you order here

Once again another excellent meal at Anthony's. My family was a party of 6. For starters we had a Caesar salad some fried calamari snd a Diablo pizza. Bread served was crispy and warm. All three apps were prepared to perfection. The salad was crisp fresh snd full of flavor. The calamari prepared perfectly with a delicious side of tomato sauce and the Diablo pizza was crisp thin and delicious. For main courses we had the rigatoni bolognese, chicken parm vodka and the shrimp parmigiana. All plates were cleaned and the meals were excellent. I had the cod special which was prepared oreganata. The sauce was money so good and it was served with spinach olive oil and garlic. The cod was excellent. Dessert was a shared Italian cheese cake with espresso and cappuccino. Service was excellent. Anthony Rob and family see you and the family again soon. THANK YOU and Happy New Year.
