I walked in and the hostess shouted from the far end of the restaurant. Closed! Its 3:22 pm and there was a family eating. Even if this is the hours established, there is just a way to be courteous and a bit more welcoming. Also, lock the door in this case. Most places are not closed mid day.

The quality of the fish was very good, the pork ramen was also very hearty. Service was kind, and the place is great.

I am a sushi snob and I will put Aoyu Sushi up against most sushi places in Manhattan. The quality of the fish is way better than similarly priced restaurants. Their Supreme Omakase costs $40 and it would cost $80 to get similar high quality fish like that anywhere in the city. My favorite sushi restaurant, it gets crowded at 5pm for dinner within 15 minutes of opening.

We were upset to get Ramen with stuck together noodles in Japanese restaurant. The egg in Ramen was mot as usual marinated. But the broth was ok.

My family and I have been repeatedly ordering from and dining in at Aoyu since 2012, enjoying every delicious dish since then. It is our "go-to" sushi and sashimi place, with a calm, serene atmosphere. Attentive servers as well.

Best sushi in the neighborhood. However, my credit card was stolen from their website.
Delicious food, I had the shrimp rock tempura and the chicken skewers and they were perfect. Our server Allan was very attentive as we sat down he came very quickly with hand wipes and lemon water which I love, most places you have to ask for the lemon water. I definitely recommend this place and will be returning pretty soon!

My goto sushi spot. I've been coming here for years. I celebrated my 20-something bday at this place years ago. I recently visited and I was very happy that the quality is the same. Food always tastes fresh and flavorful.
Fish is of quality.
Wish they had more drink options, like cocktail mixtures.
Overall great local sushi spot.
