This spot is super clean, modern & a quiet atmosphere where you can really enjoy a meal & have a conversation not competing w/ music. It's a lovely Japanese restaurant that is female owned & there is meticulous effort in ensuring their sushi is super fresh. I recommend the entire menu. Have been there many many times. Everything is incredibly fresh. 😋

Good spot. Definitely the best sushi in the neighborhood. Small intimate spot with genuinely good food.

With the exception of one rude waitress who throws the food at you, Aoyu Sushi is a very good restaurant. However, because of two instances with the same awful waitress, we'll never go back nor recommend this restaurant to anyone. Interestingly, I am not alone with this awful dining experience.
A neighborhood gem. Try the Omakase: well worth the extra $10 or so.

Awful service. Food was forgotten about and server didn’t put in the order. Way too expensive for what it was.
Extremely rude owner.

Aoyu Sushi never disappoints!!! Sushi was fresh and beautifully served. The warm mushroom salad and tempura appetizers were delicious.

The sushi came with a quarter cup of mayonnaise dumped on top of it, rendering the sushi inedible.

Best sushi in the Inwood, Bronx neighborhood. Very fresh, fast service and always reliable. On average costs around $60 for a 3 person meal of sushi rolls. Totally worth it and continue to come back for many years. Highly recommend.

We came in around 2:30 PM. The staff told us to order everything right away because the kitchen would be closing soon — fair enough. But as soon as we ordered, the food started coming out immediately — appetizers and mains all at once. It was clear they were trying to rush us out.
About 20 minutes later, they started cleaning around us and even took my plate and chopsticks while I was still eating. We felt rushed, disrespected, and unwelcome. It was a disappointing experience — a waste of time and money. We won’t be coming back.
