Horrible horrible service. The food I had to give it back because the beef was disgusting rancid. The waiter never came back to c if I wanted another disgusting drink as well. The restroom was disgusting with a drunk woman inside talking crap. Over all shut The Whole place down.

lemme tell y'all...this was terrible they charged me for a presto game and i don't even know what that is. they ac didn't work, the wait to get a seat was about 45 mins and the restaurant was empty they also didn't even bring us water. the waiter also threw the receipt at us and walked away which was very upsetting because i'm only a teenager..moral of the story go to bbq's

The worst experience ever! 10 minutes just waiting for the hostess to show up and say there was a 15 minute wait. Not exactly sure why there was a wait when half the restaurant was empty. Finally get seated and it takes almost 20 minutes just to get a glass of water. Even longer to get an actual alcoholic beverage and longer than that to a diet pepsi. We ordered the 2 for 27 oriental salad with onion rings and the app sampler. 30 minutes after ordering the onion rings came out and tasted of old oil. One of our drinks came out and eventually the sampler arrived with the other drink. When the entrees arrived they were wrong and had to be sent back. Waitress said they were going to remove salads from the bill but when we received the bill salads were still on it with a 50% off of the 2 for 27. Thats not taking off the salads. Requested manager still waiting while doing this review. Bottom line if you enjoy waiting arround and having your time wasted this is place to go

I wish i can give this place zero stars!!!! My family and i ordered online and brought the food home and it was disgusting everything was dry, we ordered chicken tenders and chicken wonton stir fry. And then when i went inside and had to be redirected 3 times. Terrible experience and highly disappointing

I live in the Parkchester area and believe in supporting local businesses. However, I can't continue to support this restaurant. The service is beyond HORRIBLE! I can say this after giving the restaurant a number of chances to prove me wrong. On one occasion, I waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged and seated by a waitress. During another dining experience, I was given DIRTY silverware (hard food was on the utensils). On another occasion, after being seated, I waited 20 minutes before a server checked in on me. As a result, I left and decided not to eat at the restaurant for about five months. Recently, I decided to give it another try. This time I sat at the bar, where the one bartender could not keep up with the demands of the customers. After finishing my first drink, with an empty glass on the bar, I had to repeatedly ask for another one. I also ordered food, which took forever to come. After eating, I asked for my check and literally waited 15+ minutes. I'm sorry Applebee's - but I will not dine at the Parkchester location again. NEVER !!!!! If you want a good dining experience - DON'T EAT AT APPLEBEES - PARKCHESTER!!! IF YOU DO - TRUST ME - YOU WILL REGRET IT! SPEND A FEW MORE DOLLARS FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE AT THE STEP-INS BAR/RESTAURANT DOWN THE STREET. WHAT THE HELL - ELLIE'S DINER, WHICH IS ACROSS THE STREET WOULD BE A BETTER CHOICE. STAY AWAY FROM THIS AWFUL RESTAURANT.

The quantity of food that they give is small compared to other location. Our waitress took her time to pay attention to us. When she did she was nice and polite. But the waiting period in between was taking long.
Didn't have food there, so not sure if it's better, worse, or exactly how all the other big franchise restaurant food tastes. Wasn't busy at the time, though I waited for some time before I could get the bartender who had been standing in front of me to knowledge me. Finally I ordered my beer!. Another five minutes later, and I get my beer! Lovely. Looks nice inside with all the wall art.

Justin was the most unprofessional and rude employee I have ever encountered. Not only was he not attentive throughout my visit, he was on his phone also disappeared completely after a while. I don't know what the hiring process is here, but something is wrong.

To begin with I had to ask who was my waitress after 10 minutes staring at my menu. Asked for glass of water to realized a hour after it had a cherry stem inside. This goes to show you that if I got a unwashed cup because if they had the decency to wash it the stem wouldn't have been there in the first place, maybe their cups and plates are used as well without washing. I alerted the MANAGER about the situation he approached the table to just say he would take it off the tap. First of all as a manager you should've have a more a professional and apologetic way of solving the situation, not just walk away saying you going to get a new cup of water. Clearly people in this place do not know you can get herpes, strep throat among others infections by using and unwashed cup with a cherry stem inside touched by someone else mouth. Super unprofessional and unsanitary place I been to in my life. If I could give no starts at all that would be my choice.

After seated, we Waited 20 minutes to get the attention of a waiter. Then waited another 15 minutes to get our orders in. Waited another 20 minutes to get our food. They were not even busy on a Tuesday night. I read similar reviews and management has not corrected the issues.

The Parchester location always has at least a 20min wait for some reason, even with a few empty seats. Otherwise the food is very good! One of the better locations, especially compared to the Bay Plaza location.
