I came to Azteca bakery in search for some treats. As I entered they seemed like any regular bakery I have been to. I picked up my tray and started to pick out some pastries. I got a concha, a type of milk bread and a crispy pastry.
The woman behind the counter was very nice. As I tried my treats on my way home they were just decent. They were not sweet which is probably a good thing. I had a lot of hope for the milk toast because of one I had tried in México once but it didnt live up to the hype. I will be coming back here to try their other pastries but until then they receive a solid 3 stars.

Hands down the best rosca for three kings day! It is so hard to find a decent rosca and nothing beats Azteca Bakery. These roscas were soft and fluffy and overall delicious. Picked up some bread as well which were all decadent. Highly recommend this bakery!

I have never heard any shop charge for writing in a cake. And i asked for a small cake box rather than the plastic rake away boxes. And they charge $2 for boxes too.

I was surprised by how high their prices are compared to what they offer. While the products are decent, they don’t justify the steep cost. It’s disappointing to see such inflated prices for items you can get elsewhere for much less. I purchased a shareable chocolate cake for thanksgiving and i was hoping for a $50 charge condiering i can get same cake at a supermarket for $35-40$. Here the price was $75. I recommend people check reviews or ask about prices before making the trip to avoid feeling let down. Azteka Bakery might be convenient for some, but in my opinion, it’s not worth the premium they’re charging. Try out somewhere else until the price gaging here stops.

The best flan in NYC but the individual slices are dry, definitely need extra juice. The large flans are moist & delicious & full of juice 🤤

Ordered a tres leche cake for my daughters birthday. Easy process. No issues. Just wish the cake was more moist but it was definitely delicious. Recommend!

Found this place randomly since I’m not from the area, got the Azteca smoothie and a piece of flan, amazing! The smoothie was the best part ! Coming back whenever I’m on the area again.

I tend to go after church for a mangonada and some bread to eat next day with coffee. My family likes it and they enjoy their drinks 👍🏻.
