We stumbled on this place your local home-cooked. The food is great. They just need to get more organized. We came there with friends raving about the food place our orders and they came back stating they ran out. We had to wait. It was late on a Saturday. If you’re going there go early before they run out of food.

The food tastes good, and portions are a good amount. My boyfriend and I ordered Jollof rice with chicken and salad.

They don’t have a posted menu and the menu I was provided with didn’t have all the dishes that was listed. The food I was able to order was good and plentiful however the container wasn’t secured before they gave me the bag so it made a bit of mess and I had to eat my food out the bag. Which I didn’t really mind.
Love this place !! Been eating from here over 5 years always satisfied. Their Dibi and attieke is the best in the bronx. Also have the great jollof rice
They keep raising their prices each day.
Best Senegalese restaurant in the Bronx. The only other place to get authentic Senegalese food is 116th street, and everything else in The Bronx is fusion style restaurants. If you want to feel like your eating Dibi on the beach in Yoff, this is the place too be
Some of the best African food I've ordered in my life in the bronx. Only second to another place i go to in Shelton CT. If your hungry and in the Bronx please start here. 🙏🏾 🙂
Horrible customer service and disorganization. The food is just okay, the lamb is old and dry. They change their prices according to if you are known to them (preferably African), and how much they think they can get off you.

The food is delicious however they don't seem to have a large variety to choose from even tho they have a menu. Unless they didn't want to serve to me because I wasn't of their culture. This was hinted a based on the different language they used while laughing at me while I waited for my order. and the fake " Sister" as my bag was handed to me. This is my second time going in four years and they didn't have a any peanut stews.

Robbers! I ordered dibi chicken with brown rice. The cost is $22 according to the menu. The server proceeded to charge me $27.18. According to him, the new price (not shown on the menu) is $24 if I were paying cash, and $26 because I am paying with a card plus an additional $1.18 for the grand $27.18 total. I'm so upset, but I wanted the food for my daughter, so I just purchased it and left.
