I was a Bronx resident for a year and a half, and at the start of that time, I was trying to find a place where I could read and enjoy a cup of coffee. Little did I know I would fall in love with the atmosphere and friendly staff, bringing local and out-of-town friends down the street to enjoy the Bato experience. The owners are community lovers and go above and beyond to make your experience unlike any other. Thank you for all the karaoke and live music nights!!!

It feels European and festive and the staff is extremely kind, attentive. Great place to catch up with friends or go on a date. I think there’s also live music in the evenings in the weekends.
