I was a Bronx resident for a year and a half, and at the start of that time, I was trying to find a place where I could read and enjoy a cup of coffee. Little did I know I would fall in love with the atmosphere and friendly staff, bringing local and out-of-town friends down the street to enjoy the Bato experience. The owners are community lovers and go above and beyond to make your experience unlike any other. Thank you for all the karaoke and live music nights!!!
If you find yourself in the Bronx and seeking something special, Bato is the place to go. This lovely Albanian spot provides a dining experience with an ambiance that sets it apart in the neighborhood. One of the main attractions at Bato is definitely the music on Fridays and Saturdays. The talented musicians create an atmosphere that turns your meal into an event. It's a spot to gather with friends savor food and immerse yourself in the music.

This wine bar is a GEM. The atmosphere is super cozy and welcoming with impeccable interior design down to the exposed brick that looks a bit like earthy coffee beans. It feels European and festive and the staff is extremely kind, attentive. Great place to catch up with friends or go on a date. I think there’s also live music in the evenings in the weekends.
