Growing up in the South Bronx in the 60’s I remember walking down Alexander Avenue headed to my public library. As a child what I witnessed was my neighborhood filled with a smell of burnt out dwellings and abandoned cars. Strayed dogs roam the streets. It was a sight that a young child would never forget. Kool and chill spot in the Mott Haven area!! Another good one! The deviled eggs were delicious, vibes and atmosphere were on point , and the bartender Johnathan was great! Thanks for schooling me to my next new whiskey to try. The name Harlem caught my eye out of all the bottles behind the bar. 10 out of 10 hospitality.I will definitely be back to check out the rest of the food menu! Thanks again!
Me and my friends went out for brunch yesterday 11/8. Me and one of my friends ordered the shrimp and grits. The portions were very small and the grits were overcooked. We ask to replace the meal for something else. The waitress reluctantly agreed. We asked for steak and eggs instead. Our steak was burnt and hard.
