This sould food has no soul extremely bland having worked in many kitchens and being in the culinary field for some years I can tell they are using ore packaged things from restaurant depot and not even seasoning them the bbq sauce is equivalent to a schok cafeteria and the fries have no flavor extremely sad

I came to NYC for a couple days and wanted to try some seafood, that seafood platter did not disappoint, it was fresh, seasoned and the portion sizes were excellent. I almost caught the subway to tell them how good this was ...not to mention the coconut cake, thank yall and it was definitely 👌

I don’t do reviews but If I could give this place zero stars I would. I called to place an order, the person who answered told me to come into the restaurant. Once I walked into the restaurant I didn’t get served till about 10-15 mins of me standing on the line (MIND YOU THERE WAS ONLY ONE PERSON IN FRONT OF ME ). The one person that did decide to serve the person in from of me took there order and then proceeded to walk away…As if there isn’t a line of people, let me just say there was about 10 staff on the floor and a good 6 of them was just standing around arguing about god knows what . Luckily one of the staff that was doing something else was nice enough To stop what he was doing to serve me and this lady behind me and even after he served me and I still had to wait because there was no one at the cash register…besides this young lady that was answering the phone . I finally got my food after sitting there for about 25-30 mins THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE !!!!! I ordered whiting , Mac and cheese and yams , THE WHITING FISH TASTED LIKE STRAIGHT OILLL!!! AND NO FLAVOR. YAMS HAD NO FLAVOR NEITHER! MAC WAS OKAY

Unfortunately after ordering from here on 3 occasions I’ve noticed the food quality has gone down the drain!!!!
However, today was the worse. The crabs smelled like the 125th street and Amsterdam crabs they clean with Ammonia or some sort of cleaning agent. These crabs were definitely old and clearly soaked in cleaning supplies.
On top of that catastrophe mess; they don’t package all of your food & they are always missing items and Uber eats won’t refund the items no matter their screw up.
I call the store and speak to a Supervisor and she tells me she can only escalate this to a Manager. I paid for items I did not receive and I even offered to pick up the items and was told they can’t just give me free items. WHAT IS FREE! I paid for my items that were not delivered.
I’m definitely blasting this establishment on TicTok & Twitter!

I ordered a Turkey dinner with mac & cheese and collard greens. Everything was pretty good but the greens had too much stalks and not enough seasoning also they were under cooked; stalks were hard. The only way too save them was to re-cook and add seasoning to them. I would not order these again 😒

I won’t be coming back to Bed Stuy Fish Fry. Multiple staff members ignored an elderly customer’s questions, and one was outright rude to her. That alone was enough for me, but on top of that, the food was just mid. Not worth the price at all.

Just placed an order through Uber eats and I eat here very Often takeout and everytime I order the Mac and cheese taste more and more strange but tonight it was HORRID!! I mean not a drop of flavor just noodle and CHEESEEE nothing else not even a pinch of salt just taste like it was boiled very upsetting it’s even nasty when I mixed the yams with it was definitely a miss tonight makes you regret not going in the kitchen and making it yourself it’s that bad !

I ordered fries with whiting fish and Mac and cheese. The MnC was the only item somewhat good. The fries were so stale i swear they must’ve been out on a counter all day and the fish was greasy and hard.

I went in person today, I’m not sure if he was the owner of the store or what but he was in the front serving everyone, making sure the Uber eats orders were going out while still handling people at the store, explaining what he was serving to me since it was my first time which I appreciate, (I grabbed catfish, fried chicken, and their jerk chicken) food was great, their cabbage was on point, I went 30 min prior to closing and it was still busy. Great customer service ,and good food. ❤️
