Update - the place still sucks. Didn't order again, but tried to get our food in person. Disappointed in the nasty attitudes - just walked the hell out.
We have lost our patience with this place. We have been buying from them since about 2017 and through the pandemic when we started ordering for delivery. Over the last 2 years, they have started not to care about the food their customers are paying for. After receiving unsatisfactory meals (tough, stale fried dumplings, wrong orders, missing items, etc) more than once, I stopped ordering from them, but my husband continued. Last week, his cowfoot was missing the steamed vegetables, white rice and had about 3 pieces of cowfoot plus 2 bare bones. The curry chicken was missing the steamed vegetables, zero gravy and a few small pieces of chicken parts. The mac and cheese was not was sent
Disappointment set in quickly once we realized that they had just scraped together whatever little bit of food they had left and insulted our intelligence by sending less than half-assed meals. There is no way they should have ever sent what they did to longstanding customers. They know us and are aware of our support, but still thought it was ok to do this. Just tell us if you had run out of food. Sending us scrapings was UNACCEPTABLE.
We are done once and for all with this establishment.

I had the ackee and codfish meal. It cost $12 for a small with dumplings, boil banana, and yuca. I also got 160z soursop drink for $6. The food was good, not too salty. The drink was delicious. I’ll go there again.

Ordered a large Oxtail tonight and the whole plate was just big lumps of Fat. The oxtail use to be good now they don’t clean the fat off anymore and just add some big tasteless lumps of fat to your plate. I’m so disappointed

I thought the food was good until I FOUND A BROKEN TOOTH IN MY MEAL!!!! IM SO DISTURBED!! I wonder what these nasty people are doing back in the kitchen! The first time I had soup and fried chicken from here the next day I wanted to vomit and I was having stomach sickness all day!

I used to frequent Best Choice every weekend. Then COVID happened. Since COVID occurred, quality, taste and service are next to nothing. Not the first time I've been disappointed, but IT'S THE LAST. The old counter people are gone and I'm trying to figure where they find these new ones. It was hit or miss, UNTIL YESTERDAY. Asked the counter lady "What do you have?" because it was late. She said "oxtail, curry, chicken..." I stopped her right there and said: oxtail, curry chicken and fried chicken. 3 orders. Don't say you have oxtail and give me CURRY GOAT. I told her for the fried chicken NO THIGHS - either 2 legs or 1 leg and 1 wing. No, she gives me 1 leg and 1 THIGH. Not to mention the chicken LEG and mac & cheese was cold and nasty. Turned off. The curry goat is useless because again, I don't eat goat. and the curry chicken was nasty as well. GIVE ME WHAT I'M POSTING FOR, NOT WHAT YOU WANT TO GIVE ME! Stop playing with people and their money. I USED TO LOVE this place and now I HOPE THEY GO OUT OF BUSINESS. WICKED.
