Without a doubt it is a small staple in the neighborhood. I love having one. It’s way better than subway. Doesn’t have a huge selection but for me the experience has always been great.

I went there thinking the food was going to taste like back in the late 80's early 90'. Nope. The fish sandwich was whack. No seasoning to the fish and it was thin. Yuck. Then the roast beef with provolone was ok. The only good thing was that the soggy sandwich had a good amount of meat on it.

This is always recommended. I've loved Blimpie since I was younger there aren't many left but the one on gun hill road by Montifiore hospital is great. Food is fresh and the service is great.

I brought 2 blimpies best sandwiches. I was so happy when I realized there is a blimpies 2 minutes from Montefiore hospital. I haven't had my favorite sandwich in years. Blimpies seems to be housed in other stores. Before this time, I found it in a twin donut on 161st and it was 16 dollars. The one on Gunhill and Bainbridge Avenue is in a store named Tasty Picks and was the normal 13 dollars.

This place has been there since I was a young lady/little girl and it hasn't changed a bit. it's very clean on the inside. You would think you were in downtown Manhattan the way they operate. You can order food, pastries, salads, sushi, etc etc. I bring my husband to this blimpies and we do live downtown. He will not go to any other blimpies because he says they don't know how to make a real blimpies sandwich. I would recommend anyone to go here and get an authentic blimpies hero. It's better than subways or any other of those places
Not even close to.a.Blimpe Sandwich! They use smoked Ham and they do not prepare it the Blimpe Way. I would never eat from here. Over priced and not even what your paying for!!!

I like this store for what there isn't in other stores. What I would say is to be clear with what you are ordering with them. The burrito bowl I ordered needs salt and pepper. The Latin sensation is good and smooth, I like it.

Never knew that blimpie does not notify their customers that they serve only non pork to usa customers. Asked for bacon on my sandwich and got turkey bacon. My wife ask for salami and that sure wasnt salami. This is not a blimpie its a walk up added to a regular halal mini grocery. If i would have known they substitute what i ask for what they want to serve i would not have paid for it. We got in the car and left and didnt realize till we got home and tasted the nasty food they expected us not to notice was substituted.They have muslim beliefs but have mexican workers who eat and touch pork 5 times a weeks. Go figure.
