This is my first time coming to blimpie/gyro king ( they are combined inside the store ) and I went to gyro king and ordered a chicken over rice and let me tell youuuuu it is freaking out of this world!!! Especially the salad it comes with! The taste of fresh cilantro and a mixture of garbanzo beans in the salad is *chefs kiss* I highly recommend their chicken over rice and my man had the lamb over rice he highly recommend it! This place is truly halal!! I would rate it a 10/10!!

A staple in the community for decades. Many Blimoie locations have closed down over the years, but so glad the Westchester Ave location survived since they were the first to begin in the borough. Food is always fresh, staff is always friendly, and always kept uptodate with appearance. Been here since I was a boy and the experience purchasing meals as been 100% all my life.
