Bobo's Crab Shack (Soundview)

This is my second time visiting this location! I just went specifically for the Dumplings! The fried ones where good the steamed ones this time where gummy! Felt dough! And smelled funny!! This was about 30mins ago I guess it depends on who the cook is!? But I traveled far for this and im Highly Disappointed!

I tried out Bobo's after being recommended by a friend who LOVES this place. The food quality, pricing and service was great. I had ordered the fried shrimp basket and the crab legs. The shrimp were fresh, hot and not too greasy. I've been. The crab legs were very big, and reminded me of the crab legs on city island that cost 2x the amount. I will definitely be returning.

I had no idea that the food would be this good. I had the best tender crab legs that were super thick with meat. It was so tender, sweet and I had it dipped in spicy cajun sauce and it was heaven! I just cannot explain how good it really was! Amazing spices!

Overall what can I say I love this place. When I had went to this place the food had tasted amazing. Also the crab leg size was an good size and also big . Also I had the fried rice with the meal and it tasted just the way that I would except it to . Overall I enjoyed this place and will come back again.

I was looking for something new to try and I was referred to this place by a friend of mine. The crab leg is really big and the fried shrimp was delicious. The staff was so nice and friendly. I'm a happy customer.

Place had great sized crab legs, wife got a bunch of appetizers but the fried shrimp was her favorite. I’m not one for fried food usually but it was delicious. Would definitely return here if we lived nearby.

It couldn't have been better than this! I am a great fan of sea food and their crab legs are huge and full of meat. I am definitely giving a review because of their delicious food and great service.

Absolutely loved stopping by here! Clean, friendly and the portion sizes are amazing! The crab legs and fried shrimp as huge! Will be coming back for sure.

Seafood lover’s heaven! I enjoyed the enormous crab legs and fried shrimp, they have great side options as well, everything is fresh and delicious.

As I was heading home walking, from Running errands on a rainy day, I seen this spot just staring at me lol I told the young guy at the front that I was hungry and it was my first time there and I needed it some help. He recommended me a plate with their special sauce (bobo’s sauce) it was too good !! I sat there for 30 minutes, I was full, couldn’t move lol Great spot for a date or Family time.!

Have the fried shrimp and fried calamari here! It’s freakin amazing! The boil and the sauce is on fire

Ordered through doordash for takeout. I had combo B with BoBo sauce. The sauce was good. I also ordered wings... unfortunately the wings were old. Smelt like they were left out. I kept saying it's the seasoning until when I bit into one with a broken bone and it solidified that the chicken were old, like they were left out. The mojojojo sauce was good. I will not order here again.

Updated review bobos og seasoning still very tasty, I was just disgusted upon finding a bug in the last build your own I bought. Definitely didn’t order that! Won’t be ordering anymore build your own, but the steamed oysters still my fav.

The sauce had no flavor at all. The fried shrimp also didn't have flavor and the breading was coming off.
