I visited Brisa’s Restaurant with the intention of ordering an oxtail lunch special, but was informed they do not offer lunch specials for oxtails. That was understandable, so I ordered a family combo instead. However, when I got home and opened my order, I was extremely disappointed to find that what I received was not a family-sized portion at all, but rather a meal suitable for only one person.
It is very unprofessional to charge for a family combo and deliver something entirely different. Customers should receive exactly what they pay for, and in this case, the value and integrity of the order were not honored. Clear communication about portion sizes and consistency in what is being served would go a long way in improving the customer experience. Until these issues are addressed, I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

Restaurantji Recommends
Food was VERY salty. It took 5 ppl to stand around the 1 person who was preparing the to go order. A worker was sitting at a table counting her tips like she was a stripper after a set. Mad my husband passed 2 other spots b4 stopping here.

this place has been open since i was a kid, and as I've grown, it faded off and on of my radar, but when i went back today, i fell in love with it all over again. the waiters and staff are friendly and polite, and all of the food is so fresh and well prepared. i will say the tostones did need some salt, but other than that, im glad i rediscovered this childhood fav of mine ☺️

I was very surprised with the food. The last time I was here was a year ago. The fried plantains taste like old grease the pork chops didn’t have seasoning maybe salt if that. The rice and peas didn’t have a good taste as if they didn’t use any Sofrito. What was more disappointing was that I invited my son to eat and I actually bragged about this place and it sucked. a NEVER AGAIN. THE BARRIO WHICH IS A FEW DOORS DOWN IS AMAZING. I’ll stick to BARRIO.
