This place it's just horrible. I bought food this evening and evening was cold the rice,chicken and soup. I'm just 5min away in car. When I got home and was serving the food evening was cold. It's a total wais of money.

Great service from the friendly waitress. Food came out fast. Everything was fresh. Best avocados I’ve seen in a while. Drinks were strong. I really enjoyed my penne alla vodka. Huge servings . I will be coming back likely for takeout Because I was Not happy with the indoor because it’s Extremely weird cafeteria lighting... they should think about more restaurant friendly lighting . Also Bathrooms were filthy . But the food and service make up for it.
The mofongo would be the only reason I would ever consider this place again. However everything else is mediocre or lacking in flavor. Even the beans are not that well seasoned but the guisados are the worst in flavor and not tender. I was so excited to come here because I live in the suburbs and assumed that the Bronx did it better but I can definitely be happy with my suburbia Dominican food now.
