The food is straight fire. If you want real, home‑cooked Dominican food, pull up to Brisas El Caribe. We ordered catering (rice, beans, pernil) for Noche Buena, and everything slapppppppppppped.

We had a little hiccup with the order, but they fixed it quick and handled it mad fair. Every time I talked to someone, they were chill, respectful, and super helpful.

Bomb food + good people… why you still reading? Go eat.

If you order a Cuban sandwich from here they will not put pickles in it unless you specify that you want pickles. And they won’t tell you about the pickles when you’re ordering, they won’t even ask you if you want pickles or not. I learned this the hard way. I ordered for my daughter and we had to go to the store to buy pickles to add. It’s rather ridiculous because pickles are a CORE ingredient in a Cuban sandwich which is expected. To make an analogy, this inconvenient experience is the equivalent of ordering Moro and getting rice without the beans and then they will blame you for not specifying that you were expecting the Moro to have beans. So, moral of the story, if you order a Cuban sandwich make sure you specify all the ingredients even if it’s obvious.

I visited Brisa’s Restaurant with the intention of ordering an oxtail lunch special, but was informed they do not offer lunch specials for oxtails. That was understandable, so I ordered a family combo instead. However, when I got home and opened my order, I was extremely disappointed to find that what I received was not a family-sized portion at all, but rather a meal suitable for only one person.

It is very unprofessional to charge for a family combo and deliver something entirely different. Customers should receive exactly what they pay for, and in this case, the value and integrity of the order were not honored. Clear communication about portion sizes and consistency in what is being served would go a long way in improving the customer experience. Until these issues are addressed, I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

Food was VERY salty. It took 5 ppl to stand around the 1 person who was preparing the to go order. A worker was sitting at a table counting her tips like she was a stripper after a set. Mad my husband passed 2 other spots b4 stopping here.
