I ordered on uber eats and since I can't seem to rate on there I'll rate on here. I ordered catfish, whiting, shrimp, Cajun French fries, collard greens, and potato salad. The fried catfish, shrimp and whiting was bland but tolerable and everything else was so salty I had to throw it in the garbage. I forgot to mention I didn't get the potato salad I got mac and cheese and it was so salty. It tasted like they dumped a spoon of salt into the food. Also the delivery person had to tell.me it was a mess in there and the food tasted just as he mentioned a mess. I wouldn't order again.

Just moved in the neighborhood a month ago and I'm so thankful they are around the corner from me...food is excellent, and all the staff down to earth...I recommend the crab Mac and fish boat..?
The food Is fresh. ?. Price friendly. Cakes, must try the coconut n the lemon.

This is definitely one of my go-to spots in the Bronx, has been for years...you will not find a better place for fresh steamed seafood with vegetables. The fried options are great as well but I usually come here for piping hot steamed salmon (sometimes tilapia) with shrimp atop a bed of fresh steamed broccoli, carrots, potatoes & corn.

I did an Uber eats order and the portion of collard greens is like $2-3 worth. It’s smaller than the amount of the potato salad. Looks like I got all the leftovers. I also didn’t know the catfish is small pieces like nuggets. Food tastes good however the yellow rice also has shrimp and that’s an allergy concern it should be noted in the menu.

The inside of the store needs some work, but the fish and chips are so good it's worth going to anyway.

I won't be coming here anymore. 5 years ago I gave this place a stellar review now I look for a new place to get fried fish because this ain't that.
The food is inexpensive and good. There are not many choices as far as fried fish are concerned so this is one of my new go to spots for my fried whiting fix. Usually I get the all fish, steamed veggies, Mac & cheese, and the wings . You really can't go wrong here.

I ordered 2 orders of fried catfish (1 with regular fries (bc they were out of sweet potato fries for my husband), and yams, and another order ot fried catfish with collards and Mac n' cheese, bc I do t eat yams. I ended up with 2 sides of yams, soggy fries and collards. I called to ask for a refund for the Mac or some way to fix it and they said come back (I live far away) or just forget about it basically. I spent over $30 for both meals and have a whole side of yams that will go in the trash. The person on the phone repeated the order back to me SEVERAL TIMES. it just sucks when you are looking forward to something (their Mac is bomb) and it comes out wrong and you spend a lot.of $$. With no help from the restaurant. Will definitely think twice before ordering again

we ordered 2 orders of fried catfish, 1 with sweet potatoe fries and 1 with Mac&cheese, and also a side of collards. everything was made FRESH. crispy and delicious fish & fries, super cheesey Mac and the collards we're great! not the first or the last time I will order from here. reasonably priced for fish around here.

Update August 31 2023:The fact that you can no longer order their food on any of the food apps should have foreshadowed what was the come & told me everything I need to know. I ordered the all fish and it was hard, fishy smelling and incredibly oily. It was so oily I could squeeze it and oil came out of it. What a bust and thanks for nothing. I won't be coming here anymore. 5 years ago I gave this place a stellar review now I look for a new place to get fried fish because this ain't that.The food is inexpensive and good.
