If you like this place please reevaluate because the quality is extremely low. The fried chicken wings were crispy and soggy. At the same time. Weird. I ordered the fried whiting 3 different times and it was soft and crispy one time. The last 2 times, DISGUSTING. Hard, funky fishy mess. I wish I could share the video I have. Salmon always stinks and tastes old. I never get to actually eat it. Iāve tried it fried and steamed. Mac is nasty, collards bland and yamās average. Just sweet. No spices. Yams should have both. Peaās and rice taste like sazonā¦thatās it. Just red dye. Lastly the butter tastes SOOO WEIRD. It tastes like movie theater butter, and real butter doesnāt taste like thatā¦Iām confused. Why is the seafood in this city so nasty. Iām ready to throw up. Run away from the shrimp and any other seafood they offer. Trust me. Best thing they have is the koolaid that they label as fruit punch lemonade. š¤¦š¾āāļø and even that still wasnāt hitting frfr. Never again. Not even to give to the homeless. Waste. Of. Money.

I ordered on uber eats and since I can't seem to rate on there I'll rate on here. I ordered catfish, whiting, shrimp, Cajun French fries, collard greens, and potato salad. The fried catfish, shrimp and whiting was bland but tolerable and everything else was so salty I had to throw it in the garbage. I forgot to mention I didn't get the potato salad I got mac and cheese and it was so salty. It tasted like they dumped a spoon of salt into the food. Also the delivery person had to tell.me it was a mess in there and the food tasted just as he mentioned a mess. I wouldn't order again.

Just moved in the neighborhood a month ago and I'm so thankful they are around the corner from me...food is excellent, and all the staff down to earth...I recommend the crab Mac and fish boat..?
This is definitely one of my go-to spots in the Bronx, has been for years...you will not find a better place for fresh steamed seafood with vegetables. The fried options are great as well but I usually come here for piping hot steamed salmon (sometimes tilapia) with shrimp atop a bed of fresh steamed broccoli, carrots, potatoes & corn.

I did an Uber eats order and the portion of collard greens is like $2-3 worth. Itās smaller than the amount of the potato salad. Looks like I got all the leftovers. I also didnāt know the catfish is small pieces like nuggets. Food tastes good however the yellow rice also has shrimp and thatās an allergy concern it should be noted in the menu.
