If you’re looking for a great mom and pop place the café is the place to be... excellent Food!The pizza is out of this world all types of toppings made from fresh ingredients. If you miss The café al Mercato You’ll never get a true taste of what Authur Avenue Market is all about! The price is very reasonable!

Seriously the best pizza I have eaten anywhere in New York City. It's on quite a few best pizza in NY lists and, honestly, it's well deserved. I can best describe it as thin but very crisp buttery crust, a layer of mozzarella cheese, and finally a topping of simple but delicious tomato sauce. That's it. I know it sounds simple and it was simple but really amazing. I wanted to eat the whole pizza but I refrained. It's all the way in the back of the Arthur Avenue Retail Market. DO NOT MISS THIS PIZZA!
We took a small 14" pizza home along with some other items we purchased along Arthur Avenue. And glad we did! Maybe the best pizza we ever had? Authentic, good ingredients, not the typical slice we get out on Long Island. Good service
