Possibly the most amazing slow roasted lamb in NYC. It may not be in the menu. So you have to ask for the “baby lamb”Nobody does this like the Albanians. And no Albanian place does it like Cakor. They run weekly mixed specials in a casual kitschy Eastern European Albanian atmosphere. The lamb is to die for. They have some amazing appetizers , pickled veggies, roasted peppers in cream.
Authentic food and decent prices. Calamari was a little overcooked but no other complaints. If you're looking for an alternative to the nearby Italian fare, you won't be disappointed.
