Listen, I’ve visited New York about three times now, and every single trip I make it a priority to stop at this bodega. I first discovered it during a tour on my very first visit, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
They sell a variety of things, but let me be clear—the empanadas are the star of the show. Oh. My. Gosh. They are packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and BIG. You can literally get full off just one.
If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and try their empanadas. I have to warn you though: once you taste one from this spot, you’ll never be satisfied with an empanada from anywhere else. You’ll only crave theirs.

Great empanada, warm and crispy. I got a soda can, the price was higher than the empanada. Just go for it. Post Owner comment: I paid 4$ for the empanada and 4.5$ for a Dr. Pepper, unfortunately I'll not be in NY tomorrow. Thanks for the offer

Best chicken empanada in the boroughs! It was so flavorful, stuffed and perfectly golden brown fresh out of the fryer.

I had the best coffee of my life at this place, and the vegetarian empanadas are absolutely amazing.
Stopped by with a tour group. Never had an empanada, now I want to have them all! Had the Cuban and my wife had the beef. Excellent first experience.
