I went yesterday morning to grab breakfast and a sandwich, and omg there was two roaches crawling the cold cut machine that slices the cold cuts. I told the tall slim guy and he was just about to flick the roaches with his hands wearing plastics gloves. But because i watched him, he didn’t do it. Freaking gross! Not only that, but he seem upset when i told him about the 2 roaches i saw. I walked away and never again will go there…

Sent my son to get some rice, beans, vegetables and soup. It cost me $51.49.The soup had 1 piece of thigh, the vegetables were mostly squash.Why the highway robbery. We could have had a meal with steak at artys at city island for that price.

I'm giving this spot a bad review! I'm so tired of them ripping me off. They fail on customer service. They have a big dude in there, light skin & tall with a lot of acne- he has a bad attitude! Always in some type of mood & because his English is bad, he gets annoyed with YOU! He gives the smallest portions of food, with a bad attitude. Next is that shysty cashier- Rico the Crook with his shades & gold teeth- dude go sit down! It never fails- he always makes up prices as he goes along, and OVER CHARGES all the time. I hate stores that DO NOT POST PRICES - they can charge whatever they so choose & trust me he does all the time with that hot food. He just charged me 4.00 for a Pastele.... If a dozen Pasteles on the market cost 20-25 dollars, him charging 4 makes a dozen 48 bucks- who pays that?! Besides the Pastele was horrible. I got 1Pastele & a small lunch special that would cost about 9-10 dollars up the street at Caridad- these thieves charged 18 bucks! I should have left it - but that's ok. I will say, most of their food is good, however- a few years ago I got food poisoning from their chicken. I stopped going, but just started again because they are close to home. Im done with that big rude dude & the Crook at the Cash register- Rico the crook- I feel like I just got robbed up in there without a gun- the food is ok but the service is horrible....bunch of rude thieves...

They offer great food and sandwiches at a good price. The staff is really nice as well.

Take that "$" down because that's a lie. Never trust a store/deli with no prices posted. I would have walked out and not taken the food but I have people to feed. Don't go in there if you're non-hispanic, it feels like they take advantage of you. It's a wonder how they're still open and the pizzeria isn't, maybe because they constantly overprice everything and change the prices when you go back. I should have went to Sangria or Caridad.

Just got 4 sandwiches breakfast and avena. I appreciate having a real deli/Bodega with fresh and delicious stock in my neighborhood. The music is also fantastic.
