I did my wedding reception here everyone was super friendly and accommodating my needs. Food was amazing the waitress David and the bartender Edwin assisted us with the most caring and warm way. I do recommend everyone to come to this place you will have fun. Thank you for the manager Jab for helping us as well... I definitely coming back.

I love Charlie’s. The service is great! Brunch is always delish. Alex our server was amazing. I got to catch up with my bestie and didn’t get rushed. We got shrimp and grits and my friend got the chicken and waffle with bacon and an egg. Cocktails are great and it’s always a cute spot!

This was by far the worst customer service I’ve experienced in 8 years of hosting and upselling NYC restaurants.My family was planning a 70th birthday celebration for my grandmother at Charlie’s Bar and Kitchen.Two days before my grandmother’s 70th birthday party, the manager Jab hung up on my mother multiple times, spoke over her, and suddenly introduced a $500 room fee that was never previously disclosed. The call was only about adjusting guest count due to weather—nothing else.Unbeknownst to him, the conversation was recorded and on speaker, so there is no confusion about what was said or how unprofessional he was. My mother—who is a retired NYC Police Officer and retired military—was treated with extreme disrespect. When we asked for the owner’s contact information, Jab refused to provide it, kept repeating himself, and ultimately hung up again. This behavior is unacceptable, unprofessional, and hostile—especially for a business that hosts private events.Thankfully, we will now be happily celebrating at The Row House instead, where professionalism still exists.
