I’ve been ordering from this takeout for years and I have to say the food is amazing but what really makes this place special is the incredible talent behind the counter. The cashier makes the most beautiful crochet items and I’ve had the joy of buying a few pieces over the years. Each one is carefully crafted and unique. You can really see the time, effort, and love she puts into her work.
Every visit feels personal and warm. She is always friendly, hardworking, and genuinely kind. Supporting this place is a no-brainer. If you appreciate skill, creativity, and a welcoming atmosphere, you won't be disappointed!

The only reason I go here is because of Amy. She’s the sweetest, kindest cashier I’ve ever met in a Chinese Resturant. I hate that she has to work in the location she does. There’s nothing but disrespectful, racist, ignorant children in the area. It’s not too far from RiverPark Towers. I love the sugar biscuits from there.

DO NOT order food from any other chinese restaurant other than CHINESE GOURMET. The workers are extremely friendly and courteous, literally. Their food is DELICIOUS with the urge of wanting more. Their prices are reasonable and trust me, you get a lot for your buck. Chinese Gourmet is definitely my favorite restaurant when it comes to chinese food. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible, but their service is wheelchair accessible. The workers will literally come outside to greet and assist you, take your order(if you choose not to come in), and bring your food out for you. Their extremely friendly and compassionate.
