Food was decent service was terrible sister found a bug in her food so once she seen that she didn’t want to eat nomore
The restaurant is in a very good location. Seems to be very popular. We celebrated my friends birthday and had a blast. Our sever Gergia was on point and so very kind and accommodating! The DJ was rocking! The place is very clean, well lit and spacious. Seating was not the most comfortable, but the food and drinks made up for it! Definitely will be revisiting soon and often!! Best Happy Hour around! Try the rum punch!!
Parking: Depending on time of your visit. You may have to pay the parking fee of street parking
Kid-friendliness: I didn't think there would be children there... but bone the less . There were a few and they looked to be having a ball!!
Wheelchair accessibility: No steps wide entryway and in my opinion the bathrooms look big enough to accommodate

Arrived at this restaurant and was seated promptly. Nice Atmosphere.
The waitress poured some water and asked us what we wanted. We asked what she recommended and she just listed the whole menu. We ordered the food and it took a long time but we figured it was late and there were a few people. Finally our food came out. The fried fish had no taste or season on them. The steak was well done and it was ordered with some pink in it. The waitress came and asked if everything was okay.
I explained to her it was not done like I wanted so, she picked it and took it to the kitchen then brought it back to the table and stated it was done like I wanted. Told her no and she stated she was going to get a manager. Left the steak on the table and 41 minutes exactly she came back to say I didn't look happy. I told her I was waiting for the manager and she took the steak for a second time and came back 15 minutes later to say they were cooking me another one. I said okay. Ten minutes later the steak arrived seared on both sides and uncooked in the middle. I was beyond furious now. I didn't say anything again. I went looking for the manager myself and found her.
Apparently I was waiting for a manager but she didn't even know I was waiting for her. I explained my situation very calmly to her and she sorted out the situation. I even said to her I thought she was ignoring me because she was dealing with another large party that came in after us.
My mashed potatoes were cold, and didn't taste any garlic sauce on my lobster tail. The carrot and string bean were very hard as if they were straight from the earth to the plates. Everyone at my table didn't eat their vegetables because they were hard.
Our waitress never came back to ask us if we wanted more water or drinks.
Simone the manager was very helpful. My experience wasn't good and my family have gone there before and love it and recommend it but today wasn't the day. Very disappointed.

I asked for 6 piece wings and got 5 wings , the drinks were way too strong (tried to enjoy them but I couldn’t) I had to buy a juice at the deli to mix it. Plus kitchen was filthy . Bartender made me the wrong drink but due to the bar being crowded I settled for the drink I didn’t ordered .I’ve been coming here for 2 years now and I don’t think I’ll come back….

Service is slow because they are short staffed most of the time. The food is good if it comes to you hot and the vibes are good.
Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't say it's kid friendly. It's a lounge kinda vibe with hooka, drinks, karaoke etc.

Disgusting mashup rice taste like it came from a box and the chicken had skin on it tasted bland and weird
My wife and I have been here twice so far. The staff is nice and friendly. there's no parking lot, so you have to find either free and metered street parking. we went during happy hour. we got the appetizer platter. It's pretty good. they dont have a traditional menu. there is no jerk chicken with rice and peas, fried chicken. but my coworker said if you go there you can just ask for it and you can get it. Their drinks are really good. the Rum punch is strong, they aren't shy with the Wray and nephew. we will definitely be going back.

I recently visited Code Red in the Bronx, and it exceeded my expectations! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal or a night out. The menu features a fantastic variety of dishes, and everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared.
The service was attentive without being intrusive, and our server was knowledgeable about the menu. I highly recommend the signature dishes—each bite was a delight!
Overall, Code Red is a gem in the Bronx. I can’t wait to go back and try more items from their menu!

I ordered the seafood bucket (Cajun) I wasn't pleased with the taste the only thing tasted ok was the corn. The lobster and shrimp was overcooked the sausage tasted weird and the texture was hard. I think they need new chefs. SAD! For that much money and didn't enjoy.

Me and my friends went last night for the first time and we loved it. We ordered the shrimp tacos which was delish. Since i couldn't decide which entree to get, I ordered the Code Red's Tasting Platter and the whole thing was delish. The goat meat was a little warm but I still enjoyed every bite of it. I'm a foodie so I know good food when I taste it. I will definitely be going back again to try other items on the menu. Big up to the DJ who had the place lit! ☺️❤️
