Conti‘s is my go to bakery for Events big and small. They have all the Italian classics. They also manage to pop up with modern faves for the holidays. Like recently for the Super Bowl, they had football brownies. I go there every opportunity I get.

So easy to order, so friendly, fantastic communication from start to finish, text from the delivery person that they are on their way even in the freezing cold and they delivered it early and of course, the pastries were incredibly good. If you live anywhere in the world, let me give you your first reason to come to The Bronx. Conti’s has something that’s basically a cannoli in a croissant. A croissant crisped to perfection containing cannoli filling inside. And when I tell you it is the most heavenly delicacy. Fly in from anywhere around the world and thank me later. My first time having them was 2 days ago, even though I’ve been here for months. I figured I had to cross it off my bucket list, even if I’ve been cutting down on sugar. WORTH EVERY BITE. My cells were jumping for joy. I also had the walnut turnover, flaky pastry with walnuts and frosting, and a Nutella cold brew. Heaven sent breakfast indeed.
