Great aroma as you entered the store with a sense of past glory if you know what I mean. A little disappointed at the seating inside, it no longer existed. My favorite here is the rainbow cookies. I love Conti's Pastry Shoppe! It makes me happy just to walk in. The cakes and pastries shine with the love and pride this family-owned business put in to them. I ordered the chocolate mousse cheesecake, which was special request for a birthday party. WOW! Fabulous! Conti's is a bit off the beaten track (takes me an hour to get there), but it's a hidden gem, well worth it. The staff are very nice and the ambiance is wonderfully vintage. They've been in business for over a hundred years. Many blessings to Conti's for another hundred years of happy customers.

My family lived on Holland Avenue in the 1950 thru the late 1970s and we always got ice cream and cakes from Contis. In fact the best ice cream I ever had was from this bakery. I live in Pennsylvania now and have lived in many places since my childhood and will always have fond memories of this place. Thanks for the memories. Barbara Kane Budde.

2/10/24- My son Birthday Cake Looked Amazing! They done a wonderful job. There cupcakes are delicious and fresh as well. The Cake had strawberries inside of it. The strawberries were so juicy moist and fresh! They definitely know how to make cakes and pastries. I'm very glad my older brother introduced me to this very lovely bakery. He always goes there for there delicious Apple pies, and cakes. I will be getting my daughter a custom cake for her Sweet 16 here.

I've had cake from here a few times. Most recently I've tried the strawberry shortcake and it was so delicious and high quality. The strawberries were very fresh and the cake was soft and yummy! I had two slices, no lie! I never sat down here but it's cute inside too. Special order cakes can be a bit $$ but ready made cakes are decent in price. This cake was similar to Paris baguette cakes. Delicious.

I was soooooo disappointed with the custom cake I picked up for my daughter. I ordered it weeks ahead of time and paid for it in full. Had a bit of confusion picking it up and wound up waiting for about 35 mins for it. Was so sloppy I think they did it while I was waiting. Wasn't even offered a cookie or a cup of coffee as I stood there for a very long time. The cake itself was very dry, too. I've ordered a few times but the past 3 experiences haven't been pleasant.

This place is just two small, crowded and then when you get an iced coffee they have no straws. What place doesn't have basic items! Plus one of the young service girls laughs that there are no straws. Save your money go some place else that deserves your money with better service.
Cakes are amazing and they can literally recreate any design you request!!! Service was impeccable and they paid close attention to detail so that my cake(s) were beautiful and delicious!
