I really want to like this place, but it looks like it's been here awhile so here goes.
My biggest gripe is that there is always a guy or woman hustling me for spare change at the front door, it's annoying and they stare at you through the window hoping to instill fear when you leave or while you are eating your meal.
The food is good for what I safely eaten bake chicken, ox tail, pork, chicken soup and rice and beans. There are some other foods that might be questionable the way it is displayed and how unwanted things can get to the food. They make good food no doubt about it, but the safety and health practices of the restaurant have to change or invest in an updated renovation.
Pricing is market high and fair, I've always asked before I they put it in the foil.
Overall, I would come here occasionally it's a decent spot.

So this is my fourth time ordering from this restaurant and I am absolutely disgusted because I found maggots floating on top of my beans. I called the store to let them know and they insisted that that’s impossible. They don’t have worms in their beans. He then told me I had two options cancel it or come in and get a new order. Like why would I wanna order more food if there’s maggots in my beans? He continued to deny and say it’s impossible for them to have maggots. I’m so disgusted.

The food was delicious and the service was professional and courteous. I had the breaded fish, rice and potato salad with lentils and a coffee, $21 +tip I would definitely recommend and visit again. The restaurant was a little chilly but otherwise clean. Spanish music played in the background.

We’ve been to a lot of of these Dominican chicken places in this one is one of the better ones. The chicken is really flavorful and they give you a generous portion of rice beans Mojito sauce. Everything wasperfect
Perfect. Everything is excellent...even the goat... consistently The pigeon peas alone are too watery. Everything else is a 10. Fast service. Great coffee as well

This used to be a very good restaurant with great tasting food. I guess they changed the cook and staff. Food taste bad, they don't know the difference between beef stew and what they pass for pepper steak. I won't be eating from them again. And why are the beans so greasy?

Had the worst experience today at this restaurant, used to order here every single day. Until I notice they began changing the prices, or sometimes they would add gratuity without my consent after cash was giving to their delivery. Be careful when ordering here, these people are freaking thieves !

I ordered some chicken soups but it tasted like chicken, plus the tasteless white chicken, it didn't look good, it has a lot of noodles and little broth, so it's like eating noodles with chicken broth mixed with chicken, I asked for more lemon to kill the chicken flavor of the soup since I don't like chicken 🐔 and thus be able to calm my hunger... the rest of the food looked very good but I have no idea if the flavor is the same... the place is busy, pleasant music at an appropriate volume… the space was clean and tidy, quiet… the girl who served me was attentive and subtle… The soup didn't have potatoes... I only suggest less noodles in the soup, if it's chicken, don't put chicken in it... maybe I'll come back for more food one day, I like RD's food ♥️
