Staff is friendly and make you feel like you’re at home. You can tell that this burek is special and is the only one that tastes authentic. Always stop here if you’re in the Bronx. Pite me mish (meat pie) is unreal.

Visiting NYC for the first time, Dukagjini was my first stop. The burek was amazing!
Of all the burek spots in New York, Dukagjini’s is the absolute best. We usually get the spinach and meat pies, and the cheese pie is just as delicious!
The people who make the bureks do so with care and consistency - every burek we have is always as amazing as the last. Strongly recommend getting a small cup of yogurt to pair with your burek, especially if you get the meat pie! This is my husband’s favorite combo. Yum 😋
Thank you to the Dukagjini Burek team, you all are the best!!

Restaurantji Recommends
I was visiting Bronx this week and i stopped by this fastfood because it had good reviews. But honestly i have no idea why others rated it this high. The pie was extremely overpriced, didn’t taste delicious at all. It was very poor on meat and also the dough was very thin, so you’re basically paying $27 for a $4.00 worth of meat and and dough. It’s not caviar goddamnit. I would recommend them to lower the price, or make them bulkier cause im not going back to spend $27 on that, and im pretty sure that a lot of people find them pricey. 👎👎👎👎👎
