Stopped by Dyre Ave Diner to kill some time before an appointment. Typical diner/hole-in-the-wall vibes. Ordered a short stack, sausage patties, and coffee since the reviews said the pancakes were really good. Glad I listened because the pancakes were absolutely amazing and the sausages were just the right amount of burnt to them, literally *chef’s kiss*.
Also, everything was under $14. Honestly, I’m glad I stumbled across this diner!

I just delivered from this place today and it was so delicious. I had a western omelette with tomatoes on the side delicious. I didn’t have the picture cause I ate it. Everything the cheeseburger was great. The chicken noodle soup was great. I was a happy girl today thank you guys. Good job.

This is THE local diner. Right across from the train and bus, serves breakfast, burgers, tea, bottled juices, whatever you would expect from a diner. People often come in and out for delivery/pick up and I've never had to wait for a seat in the decades I've lived here. Do NOT try to park on Dyre though. Leave your car at home and come by train/bus!

U won't get decaffeinated coffee here just rising prices like 4 slices of bread French toast that's going to run you around $8 by it self. A cup of oat meal $5-$6 by it self..if you don't have a home to make you own and have the money to waste this is the place for u.

Ok so.. I really liked their food. It’s what I observed that caught my attention. I was watching one of the cooks grabbing the frozen food out the freezer with his bare hands and tossed it in the fryer. Dude, never washed his hands. Second, touched the garbage and, never washed his hands. But continued to cook and contaminate everything. I’ll never return after witnessing what I saw.

Ordered breakfast pancake platter, which I have been doing for the past 3 weeks and today order came without any condiments. Who eats pancakes without syrup. Called and spoke to the manager and he said there was nothing he could do about me not having syrup. I politely hung up on him and just want him to know his service is completely unsatisfactory. No syrup for pancakes and I’m at work. He did not try to compromise in anyway.

My first time here & I have to say the employees are really friendly & very attentive. There were so many food items to choose from (cold & hot), so of course I was unable to taste everything, but from the several items that I happily piled my plate with,..all was very fresh & absolutely delicious! I had a little bit of fried fish, linguine, sauteed Cabbage, Collard Greens, Crab Salad. Yes! I ate it all?, I will be back & I highly recommend it! This place is great for healthy and tasty options!!! I have been going there for the past 8 years now and remember, I must give them a great review! So good ??
