Steamed sea food.
Always fresh always good!
Best fried or steamed fish you will ever have from a store front. And seriously maybe the cheapest. My go to is the fried flounder sandwich, $5 today, sometimes $6 cash for two huge pieces depending upon market price. They give you the tarter and lemon and tons of other condiments and spices to put on yourself, just how you like it, before they neatly wrap it up and bag it for you. I always tip them two bucks. Been coming and thankful for them for the last 25 years when they used to be a block south. There are similar looking joints but none nearly as consistently good as Dyre Fish is. I have tried so many, hoping. It is the oil they dont allow to be used too long and the fresh fish picked up daily at Hunts Point Fish Market. And the prices have barely gone up in all that time.
Good fish
Whiting sandwich is the best deal. But the steamed fish dishes are good too.
My kids love the place
Soooo good
Love this place one of the best fish spots in the bronx the other one is on225th st and laconia
The food is good and at good prices. I usually order the fried salmon which is always a hearty portion.
The customer service is always great. They are patient and efficient.
What I like best is you can customize your seasonings added to your food.....especially for those who need less sodium.
I suggest calling in your order then going to pick up. Sometimes the wait is a little long when ordering at the counter.
They have a good variety of seafood and vegetables to accommodate almost anyone's taste buds looking for decent seafood.
Services was excellent. Everything was clean.decent prices. Spend over $200 within 2 days bought me crab legs with the trimming :carrots, cabbage, broccoli, and corns.so worth it.the people there are super nice.you won't regret it:)))
