(The Set-up) Okay so boom picture this… after a 6 hour drive to NY for an event later that night, I get a call as we’re literally crossing the the GWB that there was a cake emergency and we need a whole new cake. I’m heading to Mount Vernon but since I’m from the Bronx, we get off at 233rd St on 87 hoping someone on White Plains Rd can save the day. Mind you it’s like 12pm… the event is at 6 sharp. I’m googling and calling cake shops that come to mind but no one...
I love this bakery, this is my go to spot! Sometimes I just want a piece of cake or my favorite the strawberry shortcake cups, I always buy my cakes here for special or random occasions. I’m surprised at the comments made about the worker there, she’s amazing she goes as fast as she can && honestly i would think it’s weird if someone were happy 24/7, we are only human after all, give them some credit instead of bashing this young lady!
I absolutely will make this my permanent bakery of choice. Their customer service is really top tier and their cake ordering system is smooth effective. I ordered my cake and got my payment processed right away (my choice) there was also an option to put down payment and pay as I wish. Ordering was easy and they really listen and pay attention to detail. They nailed my event color so perfectly. The cake was gorgeous and we got a ton of compliments on it wow just wow!
