Real quality Italian bread like you could find in the Bronx before but is a rarity now. They have been in business almost 100 years and are one of the last original business in Van Nest. ( need to landmark this place)
1/17/2026 Just went there and they have closed. After a hundred years you now cannot get fresh Italian bread in Van Nest anymore.

They bread Is really good I grew up on their fresh bread. They will definitely be missed when they leave in November. We will never get to smell that fresh bread smell again.

Oh my! Their bread is so good. If you are looking for out- of -the- oven -ready- to -eat- by -itself- bread, this is the store you need to go. I wish I lived closer to this bakery, cause I will eat their delicious bread every day. The bakers are helpful, excellent customer service. Thank you.
