I don't understand. An hour and 20 minutes for a meal? I live two blocks away and the meal still lasts almost an hour and a half. Well it hasn't arrived yet. An hour and a half still waiting on food. Never again.

My family and I were in town dropping off a relative in the Bronx so we decided to drop in this restaurant. What a mistake! El Nuevo Valle in the Bronx is not providing a healthy environment nor are they practicing food health in order to protect their customers from food poisoning and other food borne diseases. I can safely state this because I developed food poisoning from their Sancocho on Sunday 2/25/2024. I should have known it was spoiled by the color it presented. Who has ever seen yellow Sancocho?! I'm very disappointed with this experience. Everyone eats at their own risk when entering a restaurant but no one ever orders food poisoning. This experience is unacceptable.

I ordered pernil and yellow rice mixed with beans and I’m highly upset because I been on the toilet back to back since this am. I am pretty sure I have a case of food poisoning and at this point I’m just thanking God I’m not throwing up as well. EAT HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK . The only good thing I could say is the service was attentive and fast and the place was decent. To the contrary food was not good. I am very upset and would like to speak with the manager asap
Food was trash! Chicken tasted like it was sitting under the lights all day, plantains were dry and everything else was bland and tasteless! I really wanted the food at another location but I settled for this because it was closer to home….my mistake….the best part of the order was the salad and the Pepsi!!

Chicken was salty. The rice tasted old and the yuca was nasty and the green plantains were soggy and greasy and the tripe soup was greasy and barely no meat! And all the food was cold. Delivery took over an hour.
