Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. We waited over an hour for our food with little to no communication or updates from the staff, which was frustrating and poorly handled. To make matters worse, there were no prices listed on the menu, and when the bill arrived, everything was extremely overpriced for what was served. The food itself was mediocre at best and absolutely not worth the wait or the cost. Overall, the lack of transparency, service, and value made this an awful experience, and I would not recommend it.

I love their food, but the service is subpar. They told me they don’t use any delivery apps, yet they’re still listed here and on Grubhub. I only found out when I called to ask about a menu item and was told they don’t use delivery apps—but that they do deliver themselves.
When I asked if they could deliver upstairs to my apartment (just a few blocks away), I was put on hold “to find out.” When I called back, the person said she’d ask the cook how long it would take to make carnita frita and then call me back. This is a regular menu item—it’s not complicated and shouldn’t take long.
Then she mentioned she had to serve a table and would call me back. That was over an hour ago. I never got a call, no food came, and they’re still active on the app.
It’s frustrating to really enjoy the food but deal with such unreliable service. I wouldn’t recommend calling to order—in my experience, it’s better to go in person. Even then, the service can be spotty, but at least you’re more likely to get helped.

This spot has good food. However, unfortunately, I always have a bad experience with this particular place. I have been ordering catering since 2021 and I always have issues with the price of the Pernil. At first in 2021 the pernil was $65 but then 6 months later went up to $70 and again 6 months later $75 which I was okay with it but now I called to place the same catering that I had 4 months ago and the lady that answered the phone said $80 for the pernil and I asked why are they changing the price every few months and she dares to say it's always been $80 with an attitude at first I was so confused because what!? I just felt so annoyed at that moment because I have ordered catering from them since 2021 and I just got to the point where I would just take my money elsewhere because honey these people are just rude and I had other bad experiences with this same spot but I had enough of this spot.
