The truth is that when I saw it I had a very good expectation but I was left with a terrible disappointment. Very bad food. I have never eaten a fish fillet so expensive and so bad with more bones, inedible and a pork rind made of greasy dough for $30 without remorse. It seemed extremely unfair. I didn't. I recommend It's not what it looks like, nice place, very good atmosphere, terrible food.

I visited 1017 Westchester Ave in Bronx NY, which evidently shows up on Google as this location, and had a negative experience thanks to their rude vulgar illegal male delivery man who apparently cleans their windows too. I tried to enjoy my pork roast that was good except I was given flimsy plastic cutlery even though I specified I would be dining in when my autistic friend showed up and stood by the doorway waiting for the rude employee in question to move for him to pass. I walked to the entrance where they were at behind a glass wall and heard the male employee demanding (not asking) my friend move so I intervened and asked the male employee who seemed agitated what the issue was and he stated rudely that if he (my friend) didn’t move that he’d get police involved who incidentally were sitting eating their food a few tables away. I asked the rude male employee why would he be rude and asked him to either make way for my friend to pass or wait because he was waiting for him to move completely out of the way. I also explained to him that my friend did not think like him and had mental issues which seemed to aggravate the rude male employee further and he threatened again he’d call the police over to remove both of us in anger. I was offended and explained to female counter staff what he had just threatened us for and informed them that my friend was autistic waiting for him to move completely out of the way but their employee insisted he “needed to clean the Crystal” which was the window. (Who refers to glass like that?!) I added he had been overtly rude that I no longer wanted to finish my meal and turned it in to them placing it in the counter. A few female employees apologized for their rude male employee’s behavior and pretended everything was fine when fact is it’s unprofessional and inappropriate for us their paying customers be mistreated in such a disrespectful manner. I blame the lack of management who clearly didn’t do their due diligence on their foul mouthed male employee because it’s clear he does not deserve to be employed anywhere near paying customers and most likely an illegal with a criminal past judging from his lack of character and poor choice of behavior.CONSIDER YOURSELVES WARNED.My pulled pork over white rice was $15.00 my friend’s shrimp soup was $30.00 extremely high priced for bad service.

The restaurant looks nice and clean. Really bright inside. We dined in. Ordered a little bit of everything. Rice, pork, veggies and a seafood soup. Was very disappointed but everything was cold. None of our food was hot. I think the food would’ve tasted much better if it was hot. We didn’t have time to send everything back for them to heat up so we just ate it. Our waitress was nice and friendly but why the cold food? Not even warm. Very disappointing.

This is about the new one that just reopen. Went there order pernil the first food was delicious, second time order steak with onions was given steak in sauce. Tasted more like oregano and vinegar. Third time got the pernil again it was so freaking salty I couldn't eat it, I was planning a family dinner thereI will never go back there even if they pay me.Dominicans need to learn how to cook, there is no consistency is different all the time.

The newly renovated location is actually across the street. I went with a group for dinner and we had a good time. The staff was friendly and the food was good. We will try other options on the menu next time. Very nice space.

Permanently closed and moved thus place on westchester doesn’t exist , there is how ever the new across the street still under construction forthe past 3 years already . The longwood, southern blvd site still in service..
