Everything was absolutely marvelous. The food, the service and the ambiance were top notch. It was Italian food done the way I remember from my childhood. And the prices were great as well. I recommend this restaurant highly!

There are so many great restaurants in Little Italy The Bronx to choose from but Emilia’s is a definite must try.The service: Amazing, can’t get better. The waitress was attentive and gave great recommendations. She was very friendly and warm. The owner came over and spoke to us. It was just a warm cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend just for the service. The food: incredibly delicious. The red sauce was light and crisp. Very refreshing and delicious. The Chicken parm is the greatest of all time. The bar: full bar with cocktails and beer. Made perfect and is not insanely expensive. Highly recommend.

My friend and I had a wonderful time at Emilia's last night. Our server, George, was patient and very helpful. He is very knowledgeable about wines and food pairings. We enjoyed everything we ordered and the attentive service. We will definitely be returning for more meals in the future. Thank you!

The best Italian food I’ve ever had. Our server was George who was great and made you feel so welcome. Awesome experience if you’re in the area you must go.

The restaurant was barely busy and It took over 90 mins just to get our appetizers. Not even our salads came out before that. We kept asking and the waiter was rude and dismissive. When the food finally came out after 2 hours it was mediocre at best. Would not recommend at all.

This Arthur Avenue icon is just resting on its laurels. The pasta was more store-bought than homemade and was overcooked. Portions were stingy. Service was perfunctory bordering on non-existent. Rather disappointing from a restaurant with this history and reputation. Cannot recommend.

Very disappointed. When we arrived we were seated and then told most of their staff called in sick. There was just one waitress and one bus boy for a restaurant that was 80% full. We were given two baskets of bread that were both wet. When I asked for bread that was not wet the bus boy took the bread away and replaced it with even wetter bread. They had no olives for martinis. Menu was not as expansive as on line.food was good except the Pork Osso Buco was dry and inedible. To top it off there was no dessert! The red wine in the carafe was good.

I truly would have enjoyed my experience at Amelia's and have for many times prior. They were understaffed, ran out of eggplant parm (their famous dish) and just didn't seem to care. Although the staff tried, I don't think I will be going back.

We made a reservation at Emilia's on Arthur Ave in the Little Italy neighborhood of the Bronx, NY for Sat Dec 9, 2023 at 2pm. This was our first time here. We arrived at 1:35 and were going to wait at the bar for our table. Well there was no bar and the host seated us immediately without regard to our reservation. OK, that worked for us. We had been seated and were greeted by our waiter, George. We asked a few questions about the wine choices and made our selections ($12/glass). Warm, crusty Italian bread was brought to the table with small plates for the dipping olive oil.Now the restaurant was filling up quickly. But service wasn't affected. Our shared appetizer was the sauteed & cheese stuffed zucchini flowers ($14) and it was perfect. Our meals arrived just after George;s brought our second glasses of wine. Perfect timing again. My bride had the lunch special Spinach Fettucini con Cavolfiore -Spinach Fettucini with Roasted Cauliflower & Crisp Pancetta ($22). Excellent balance of flavors & textures in this dish. She took half home as she opted for a second piece of the bread. I had the other lunch special Cavatelli Sposato-Cavatelli Married with Broccoli Rabe and SausageSautéed with a Touch of Small Italian Red Peppers ($23). A truly wonderful dish with a sprinkle of grated cheese & crushed red pepper.Repeated offers of dolce (dessert) had to be declined (cannoli & biscotti were in our future). There is also an outdoor patio/dining area out back. Emilia's is open from 12pm Wed-Mon, closed Tue.Emilia's is the quintessential Little Italy restaurant. Great food & wine with impeccable service.Mille Grazie to George and all the staff at Emilia's. Hope to see you again next year.Nicola & Liz, Albany, NY

I love this place. Best restaurant on Arthur Ave. the staff is so kind and the atmosphere beautiful. Last time we went they had singers who sang a few songs. Stuff artichoke is my very favorite. Great place to go for a special occasion or dinner. The food is great quality, the lasagna and bolognese masterpieces. I could go on. So good.
