Everytime I go there they treat me like my order is less important than deliveries. I wait with my baby for more than 20 mins for 4 empanadas and also my husband was overcharged. I go there many times because it’s the closest but the lack of empathy with me makes me feel unseen.

I try to be open and fair when it comes to local food shops. This store is conveniently located between campus and home. Today I got out of class a bit late and wanted pizza. I decided to try out the Medium sized “La Callejera” pizza (Dominican style pizza). Totaling $16. I was extremely disappointed, again. I’ve been to the University location various times (have tried various menu items) as I had mentioned it is extremely close to campus and Empanadas RD has not met any of my antojos Dominicanos expectations. Personally, I believe the food is mediocre/low quality and overpriced. I’ve tried their chicken empanadas and the chicken is like a pasty consistency and the cheese they use seems like plastic. I will not be buying food from this place anymore as convenient as it may be. The pizza was dry as heck and the crust was overcooked.

They are stingy with the sauces!!! I bought an empanada and the cashier didn't want to give me any sauce other than “just one sauce per empanada.” The customer is paying for a service, the sauces do not come out of their pocket or their check.
