I try to be open and fair when it comes to local food shops. This store is conveniently located between campus and home. Today I got out of class a bit late and wanted pizza. I decided to try out the Medium sized “La Callejera” pizza (Dominican style pizza). Totaling $16. I was extremely disappointed, again. I’ve been to the University location various times (have tried various menu items) as I had mentioned it is extremely close to campus and Empanadas RD has not met any of my antojos Dominicanos expectations. Personally, I believe the food is mediocre/low quality and overpriced. I’ve tried their chicken empanadas and the chicken is like a pasty consistency and the cheese they use seems like plastic. I will not be buying food from this place anymore as convenient as it may be. The pizza was dry as heck and the crust was overcooked.

They are stingy with the sauces!!! I bought an empanada and the cashier didn't want to give me any sauce other than “just one sauce per empanada.” The customer is paying for a service, the sauces do not come out of their pocket or their check.

The food is good, but today I had a very unpleasant experience with a friend. We bought juices which tasted damaged. We know that natural juices can vary in flavor but it tasted like it had been stored for a long time and no longer tasted fresh, at the time it was purchased. When we tried it, we went to tell one of the girls who were serving and her only response was that the juice tasted so yes, I knew it used to taste old, but that's the case when clearly everyone knows that it's not normal for a supposedly fresh juice tastes old, there was no refund of the money, no change of juice and much less no interest in solving the situation. In the end we simply lost the money for the juices since we threw it in the trash of the same establishment and left with a bitter pill. really .

Waited for more than 2 hours for my order for the delivery guy to end up selling my order to the guys drinking in the front of my building. The delivery guy never even tried to call me for me to go down and pick up my order.
Cashier response when I called was that she couldn’t do nothing cause he said he delivered it to me.
I called the restaurant 3 times during the wait time and the lady told me the delivery was going to call me when he was downstairs.
Worst service ever!

If I was able to give this place zero stars I would. We paid 85 for a fritura mixta everything was good expect they’re so selfish with their portions. As you can I also got my daughter popcorn chicken w fries & this is ridiculous! Wish this place was more considerate about their portions & prices !

For an order from Yaroa they made me wait 30 minutes with only 2 people before me and 2 more arriving who were immediately attended to and left and I continued waiting 15 more minutes so in total there were 32 minutes waiting. A lack of professionalism in which, at least when they saw that time was progressing, they would tell me to wait a little longer or they would compensate with something extra, but nothing. It's the last time I'll go to that place.
