Horrible experience. We waited over 45 minutes for our main course while everyone else, even who came after us got service. They completely ignored us. So we payed for the drinks cancel the main course and left. No apologies from a manager no explanation.

I would usually order to go order but this time I came to dine in. The food was amazing. But the service was off. I’m a server as well so I understand how it is to serve people. But what caught me off was how I saw the servers just standing there chatting and on their phones. I get that business is slow but it’s a bad thing to do when you have customers around. Also another thing that caught me off was the fact that they never offered me water. The moment that I came in they gave me a cup with a few napkins but I was expecting them to offer me water at least. But instead I had to take out my own water bottle out from my bag. All that I can say is that the service could be better. Over all everything else was good.

I've been going to Estrellita Poblana ever since I moved to my neighborhood. I mostly order takeout though but the food is still so delicious! The flavors are there and they never miss. There is like a 10-15 waiting time to get your food for takeout i dont know how it is for the restaurant this is due to how busy it is. The place is also very lively at night which is a thing I like not sure about others.

First time visiting, and we had a great experience! We were a group of five, and our host Magaly was friendly and very attentive throughout our visit.
As soon as you’re seated, they bring out chips with a flavorful sauce and fresh lemons — a nice touch. For appetizers, we tried the queso fundido with chorizo — deliciously melted cheese served with warm tortillas. We also had the nacho supreme, loaded with shrimp, chicken, and beef — absolutely packed with flavor. The tostadas were fresh and satisfying as well.
For my niece, we ordered a hotdog with fries, and she loved it. One of the highlights for me was their freshly squeezed orange juice — served in a large glass, just how I like it. Their natural juices, like tamarindo, were also refreshing and tasty.
I truly loved this place. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Great music. Definitely a must-visit!

On July 11th, I ordered a few tostadas that arrived to me 30 minutes later and were super soggy. I politely called the restaurant to explain the situation. I got cut off three times while on the phone. And the person who answered the phone was super rude and nasty, telling me that as a one-time Curtis , they'll change it. It was the way he said it and the way he acted as if he was doing me a favor when he's the one that's sending me a soggy order. It was not eatable. I order from here all the time. It got to the point where I actually went downstairs to the restaurant to tell the guy off because of the way he was talking to me over the phone. As if because we were on the phone, he was able to talk to me this way. Super horrible, bad service. I order from here all the time. I would definitely not order again.
