Very happy to have Ukrainian store nearby, was worried we won’t since we just moved at the beginning of 2023 from Ridgewood, where there’s plenty of Ukrainian and Polish stores.Food here is always fresh and delicious, very authentic Ukrainian, like my aunt used to cook (and my aunt is an excellent cook). When we just moved and were finishing renovations we had no gas for approximately 2 months - we literally survived on food from here.Imported foods are fresh as well, so fr as my experience goes.The girl at the register is always very sweet and pleasant.

Was their customer for a long time. Last time I bought pickles, that were not edible. Brought the jar with the receipt to exchange. I was yelled at by the owner Oksana, that I opened the jar (how else to know that food is not edible), that they don’t accept returns after 24 hours and that are American rules and I should just leave the place. If you really miss Soviet Union customer service, it’s the place.

when you are looking for European food which you missed such as heavy dark bread, sharp mustard, and tasty meats you should come here. Great store with a variety of delicious always fresh food, also you can find here a lot of different treats. The staff is very pleasant! Just Love it!!!

Every time I come to the European Gourmet it is nothing but a great experience and delicious food. The customer service is outstanding , they are always striving to provide the highest level of satisfaction! Never disappoints !
