Food was amazing and rum punch was the best I ever had and staff was kind and professional. On a scale of 1 to 10 I give them a 10 the bartender/waitress Samara is the best!!!!

$5 per Oxtail empanadas have NO oxtail in it, just cabbage. Don’t recommend. Tacos are full of uncooked cabbage and a slither of chicken pieces. Don’t recommend. They charge $2 for a small side of sauce, since the tacos come with none & are extremely dry! No utensils or napkins were at the table. We were not even offered any complimentary water upon being seated. The hospitality overall needs work! Along with improvements to the menu or cooking staff. Bartenders are extremely RUDE, completely ignoring several people trying to get help at the bar, as if they didn’t exist.

This establishment was really nice as far as decor. The service was mid and the food was ok. My spouse ordered curry goat with rice and cabbage and ended up getting all bones. When he called the waiter over his response was he don’t control the kitchen. Then when he asked to see a manager he said he had no one to come to speak to him. I found both responses to be highly unpleasant and unprofessional. I felt like it was no care for my spouses concern. I did not care for this so I think this will be my last time here. The food was no wow and neither was the service so no need to return which suck because I enjoy going to new establishments and having an experience not just with food. This establishment fell short all across the board. The favorite drink was nice and fresh but lacked in liquor content.

Horrible service

They lie there prices on the menu the mislead you with a price but when the bill comes it’s a different price then what’s on the menu but when you try to ask them to explain why is it different pricing nicely

The manager both the male and female gives attitude and responds so rude

The only reason why I come there is because it’s decent prices but they keep switching up the prices on the menu which confuses people but as a manager it’s their job to explain and not be so damn rude

Every time I come trying to give them a new chance for a better experience it’s always something negative bound to happen with the horrible service

My sister and I dined there on 12/28/24. We anticipated delicious food. The Cod Fish Cakes were delish. The entree’s were good BUT…, my curried goat was full of bones and minimum meat. My sis had to send her shrimp dish back because the cabbage was refrigerator cold. The drinks; we had mojitos. First, they added a bar service fee (up charge). This was noted on the menu so small you literally needed to squint to see it. Needless to say we missed it. Second, our waitress (TA), I don’t want to get her fired, never informed us that there is an additional charge for flavored mojitos (another up charge). The drinks came in tall glasses (thank you?) but had an undetectable amount of liquor (if any) and tasted like sweet water. Last and most INSULTING was when we ordered our desert. We were given PLASTIC forks to use. We spent over $100 for dinner and was given plastic forks with our desert like a Chinese take out joint.
** And no, I at no time became irate or disrespectful to our waitress regarding any of this **
We gave her about 20% tip because we stayed in the giving spirit.
This will not be a “go back place for us” and if we speak about it to friends we will let them know about our experience here.

I went to this restaurant for a Christmas event to support a friend. I waited about 15 mins for Gigi the server to take my drink order. Waited 15 mins for the drink and when I received it, it wasn’t even what I ordered … I drank it anyway to not be annoying. Waited 20 mins to order hookah and food. Waited 30 mins for both to arrive. The food arrived cold. The hookah was the only good thing about the restaurant. Waited another 30 mins for the server to come back and I asked for my bill and another hookah refill. We literally had to ask this girl twice for the same thing after 20 mins of waiting. Had to wait another 20 mins for my bill to come and it came out to 50 when my bill was only 8 (happy hour and the drink was supposed to be free due to the Christmas event). When I asked for it to be removed, the server said the hookah can be taken off since we paid cash, but not the drink. I asked why and she said because it didn't qualify as a free drink, which I feel like I should've been notified of beforehand. Had to wait another 30 mins just to get my new bill lol. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! worst place I’ve ever been to literally!!!

Ordered on UberEats...This is NOT Jamaican food. The curry chicken was bland and spicy asf, nothing but bones with a whole bunch of parsley sprinkled on top, no meat whatsoever. Ordered oxtails but they didn't have anymore so we opted for the brown stew chicken instead...the "Brown stew chicken" was orange, not brown. Never in life have I seen brown stew that looked like that. Also, they sent 2 small, hard ass pieces of jerk or barbecue chicken, I guess to compensate for not having the oxtails. It was so hard and rubbery I couldn't even stick the fork through it. Food was absolutely disgusting. Never again!

Horrible establishment! The restaurant smells so bad and the service was horrible. Its run awfully and the chicken was extremely dry and I waited too long for it. They also didn’t have a lot of things that were in the menu. Not sure what’s going on there.

I went for Taco Tuesday....the drinks and tacos were good the music selection is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The problems are
1) the music is soooo loud they can't get your order right because you have to scream. Our order was wrong three times.
2) our waitress was not attentive at all....i constantly saw the other waitresses even the manager helping out and serving people but our waitress was room.
Would I go again? YEP just not as frequent as I would like

Kid-friendliness: Not on Tuesday night when I went

I recently went to Flavors in the Bronx, and I have to say, the customer service was atrocious. My waitress, named Storm, couldn’t have been ruder if she tried. From the moment she approached the table, her tone was dismissive and her attitude downright nasty. The way she spoke to us felt disrespectful, like we were inconveniencing her just by being there.

Her entire demeanor—her tone, her body language, everything—made it clear she had no interest in providing even basic courtesy. It’s rare to encounter someone so openly rude, especially in a service role, and it was shocking how little she seemed to care about her own job or her customers' experience.

It’s disappointing that a place like Flavors, which could be a great spot in the Bronx, lets someone like Storm ruin the experience for their guests. Management needs to seriously reconsider the standards they hold their staff to because, with service like this, they’re driving customers away. I won't be returning unless there are serious improvements.

Pay attention to yelp and open table reviews from real customers!

Service is extremely slow due to a staff shortage. Owner is very touchy and overbearing and does not handle business with customers even while on the floor running food.

When we wanted to pay for our drinks, cancel our food order and leave the owner tried to force us to take the food annyway, which came out cold after we said we didn’t want it and refused a refund. It took two hours to have the tab finalized and closed. Will not be returning ever.
