⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 – Decent Taste, But Some Concerns
I ordered the lunch special from Foo Hing on June 10, which included chicken with broccoli, vegetable fried rice, and a drink for $13.74. I called in my order and provided my card info over the phone. After placing the order, I realized I hadn’t specified my drink, so I called back to request a ginger ale. Unfortunately, they charged me an extra $1.25 for that, but when I called again, they said they would issue a refund — I’ll be waiting to see if that actually goes through.
The food arrived in about an hour. It was hot and fresh, which I appreciated. However, when I was unpacking it, I noticed a piece of hair outside the packaging, which was concerning. Thankfully, there was no hair in the food itself.
The flavor was good and the portion of rice and broccoli was generous, but there was barely any chicken — definitely not enough for a “chicken and broccoli” dish.
Overall, the food was okay but not great. Customer service was responsive, but I hope they actually follow through with the refund. I’d consider ordering again, but only if they improve the portion of meat and overall cleanliness.
There’s one person here — the “chef” — who seriously leaves a lot to be desired in terms of communication, courtesy, and basic customer service.
No chopsticks, no smile, no greeting… and the place wasn’t exactly clean, either.
The food was edible — but that’s about it.
Hot night so I understand delay but completely ignoring customers and handing the food with an attitude is not okay.
This place needs more staff to avoid burnout. No reason one guy should be on wings, fries, handing deliveries and cash register.
Food was delicious and a good portion.
I got the shrimp and broccoli
Some plates are ok but not all !! there was no sesame seeds with the sesame chicken and it had a sour tomato taste 🤮. Be careful look @ what you order before ordering.
Hood staple they been around since the eighties, my whole family's eating from this place at some point i haven't had them in a while, but they were really good back in the days
Pick another Chinese food place to eat from. The workers are rude!! It’s the winter but there were HUGE flies and when I say flies I mean Multiple! Just a bunch flying inside the section you come in to order I can’t imagine what’s going on behind where they make the food. I decided not to eat here.

The cook will ask certain people to pay first, while others can wait until their food is ready. Don’t come here unless you want to be racially discriminated against.

My husband ordered chicken wings just before they closed and when he got home he found the chicken wings Raw. The bone is RED. And the old man that handles the orders is Rude throwing people's money at them and the bag of food. It's disgusting.

The store is always clean. The food is delicious and always well prepared. General Tso Chicken is my favorite!
Their food is really good despite the lack of good communication, the chicken wings are aahh-mazing. Totally recommend.
No bad
Their hours can be odd - despite this entry saying they're open from 11 AM on, there's definitely been days where I'll walk here at half-past one on my lunch break and find the gate down. That said, the food's great - lunch special is a good price and comes with a soup. Big fan of their Hot and Spicy Beef/Chicken.
