3 months now since Ramadan we always go to the restaurant and find it closed with a note on the door we will not work in Ramadan!!!!!!! Ramadan gone 2 months ago and still close with the same paper note on the door and the phone number is not working , Are you busy and don't have time to tell your customers that you already closed to save our time and our gas to come to your restaurant?

Loved this restaurant when I came to New York with my husband 2 years ago. We loved the food and their Ginger Juice. I was looking forward to getting some ginger juice to take home this time. But sadly went there and no longer open. Wishing to find the same kind of ginger juice but no luck so far.
Fouta Halal is an excellent African Halal restaurant that delivers bold, authentic flavors in every dish. Their lamb shank is incredibly tender and flavorful, falling off the bone with every bite. I placed an order on Dishout (2/12/2025). Dishout called me and said the food would be ready at 5PM. Cool. No problem. The delivery driver called me and said that the restaurant called me personally, and canceled my order. Not true. The delivery driver also said that the restaurant didn't have anymore white rice. So I said brown rice was fine. When the delivery driver arrived, only ONE part of the order arrived. And no explanation of what happened. My boyfriend called the restaurant and asked what happened to the rest of the order. The restaurant hung up the phone. I called Dishout and Dishout explained that when the delivery driver arrived that the food would take an additional hour. What delivery driver is gonna wait an hour when they could make 5 more drop offs in that time frame? Dishout offered to have the rest of my order delivered, however after that experience. I just wanted my money back. I doubt I'll ever order from them again, which is unfortunate as I spent hundreds of dollars on this place each month.
