The food is horrible and poorly made. The rice is not cooked correctly aswell as the beans i had to throw my meal out after my first bite i was disgusted and i spent more than 10 dollars on something i could not even eat. I do not recommended this resturant to no one and it is my first and last time ordering from here.

My experience ordering from this restaurant was absolutely trash. First of all, my order was over an hour late with no explanation or apology. The delivery man was also quite hostle, he demanded a tip before I could even grab my order. Talk about impatience, the nerve and hypocrisy. When sitting down to eat my friend and I realized our order was completely incorrect. Not only was it over an hour late and cold but it was completely messed up. However, the flavor of whatever they ended up giving us was pretty good. Never ordering from there again though 😊

The food is amazing! Smoothies are made with natural cutt up fruits and the staff is very friendly and welcoming!

I've been there three times. Each time I was overcharged, and their excuse was that the menu was wrong. (Twice they said it was a mistake on the video monitors, and the last time they said the printed menu was wrong.) I'm as forgiving as the next guy, but even I have my limit, and they've reached it. FWIW, the food is fine, but they've lost a potential regular customer.

Just had an order delivered. Food was fresh and excellent! Had a burrito, a beef shawarma sandwich, and a kofta sandwich. All great! Will order again! Great!

Awesome place!

Slow service. Nothing about their smoothies are natural. Canned coconut milk, sugary peanut butter, powders that aren't natural. Would not return.

Good food--terrible service. Good luck trying to get what you ordered!! Once they figure out how to read the menu, I'll be back.

Here's a tip for you people whining about the language barrier or them ripping you off: order pickup on grubhub and show up 20 minutes later...if you paid when you ordered on the site/app then they can't arbitarily change the menu price on you and they know exactly what you ordered. Win win. I got the halal lamb platter...for $6 it was a ton of food, and delicious. The lamb was a tad dry, but nothing worth complaining about. Whatever the red sauce was had a nice kick to it. If you don't like spicy stuff you might want to skip it, but I enjoyed it. Some of the smoothies sounded good...I'll have to try one next time. A nice addition to Riverdale for some cheap eats for sure.

WARNING: INTENTIONAL OVERCHARGING. They don't honor the menu prices and they will overcharge you. When confronted on the matter. They make the excuse the menu is incorrect and make no offer to correct the price on the receipt. While I was their a worker was cursing out a customer because they were out of an ingredient. Saying what the FK they want me to do. As a restaurant they appear to try to do too many things instead of doing anything right. Wishing them well it's only the first week.

First impressions are lasting! I saw on News 12 that this place opened up. I took a drive the next day. There isn't a lot of parking, but that isn't their fault. The place doesn't look like much. I go to the counter to order. The girl, who was on the phone, puts her phone on speaker, then asks me if I'm ready to order. She mouths to me that it's her son Jeremy on the phone. She then tries to translate what I want in broken Spanish what I want to the "chef" in the back, who is eating his food in the kitchen standing up. She fails, and asks me if that was it. I then had to tell the "chef" what I wanted myself. I ordered the BLACK BEAN RICE BOWL with GROUND BEEF and the ADOBE BURRITO with CHICKEN. The "chef" then tells me that they didn't have ground beef and tells me they have steak shaking his head up and down. I asked him, just to make sure if I heard correctly, "You don't have any ground beef?" He says no, then surprisingly says "Oh I think I have some." He goes to the refrigerator and pulls out a styrofoam tray, opens it up, and grabs the uncooked ground beef with the same hand he was eating with and throws some on the grill. It should have been obvious that neither one of them knew the items on their own menu from the beginning. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt. I ordered two items by name again. Told the "chef" in both English and Spanish. The guy then asks me if I want "white sauce" on the rice bowl. He literally was giving me only rice and ground beef. I then grabbed the menu and pointed to exactly what I wanted. Still no luck. They have these items listed by name. It started to become sad and frustrating. Another guy, who looked like he was either the manager or the owner, tries to ask me what I want. I then pointed to the two items. The chef looks at the manager/owner as if I'm giving them some sort of hard time. I started to read each ingredient that was listed under the Items' names. After I read one, he put it on the plate then asks me, "is that it?. They really didn't know what was supposed to be in the BLACK BEAN RICE BOWL with GROUND BEEF and the ADOBE BURRITO with CHICKEN. Not one person. I told them both thank you, and just left. With food so horrible in the Riverdale area, I really wanted this place to be good, at least as good as it was reported on News 12. They were way off. Maybe after a while they'll have their stuff together. Unfortunately I'll never know since I will never return to them. They get one star since I don't have the option to give them none or negative stars. This place was a waste of time as well as a disappointment. So many things stand out, that I should have walked out from the beginning. Hindsight loves to smack you!
